Capri Island Beach Hotel

"We were there for 3 nights. Great location with wonderful outdoor spaces and pool area. Located on the high end designer shopping street so a bit less hectic than other parts of Capri. Things quiet down at the end of the day when the day visitors leave. Make sure to utilize the porter service at 20 Euro per bag and arrange for a taxi through the hotel to avoid long lines at the ferry dock. However, there is a significant premium to reserve a taxi over the already very high taxi cost. Hotel reserved taxi 60 euros …on our own the second day was 25 Euro. Front desk staff not very engaging given the quality of the hotel, but they were very professional and helpful when approached. Overall a great hotel on a very overcrowded island. "

"Our stay at Capri Inn was fantastic! It felt like staying at a bed and breakfast. The hosts treated you like family. I felt as if my aunt was settling me in to the guest bedroom but then left you alone unless you needed anything. They brought us breakfast(cappuccinos, yogurt, granola, fruit, juice, toast, prosciutto, and cheese) to our room each morning. We booked the garden suite which was clean, quiet, and had a beautiful view of the garden/mountain. The air conditioning worked perfect and kept us cool. The location was perfect for waking to the beach (1 min) or marina grande (5 mins). The bus stop to Anacapri was right outside the entrance and made it easy to access. Will be recommending to friends and family for their trip to Capri!! "

"The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the staff were very nice and helpful! And the buffet breakfast was healthy and plentiful. Hotel Villa Sarah is a terrific hotel in Capri, located just far enough away from the crowds, but close enough to get to everything you need when you want it."

"This hotel I’d clean and comfortable with excellent service. It had a rooftop terrace overlooking the bay of Naples, with Vesuvius directly across the bay. Breakfast is served on the terrace in the morning, and cocktails are available there throughout the day. One of the best things about the hotel is the location. Situated on the Marina Grande, it is ten minutes walk from the ferry terminal, allowing easy access to Naples, Sorrento, Rome or the Amalfi Coast. It is steps away from the funicular railway the goes from the marina to Capri town, which is situated several hundred feet above the harbor. From the funicular you can walk the streets of Capri town, which is loaded with high end shops and fining. From there, you can take a bus to Anacapri, which is quieter than Capri town, but also has many interesting shops. Buses to and from Capri town and Anacapri also run from the bus terminal near the hotel, though they are crowded and the trip up and down the winding roads can be a bit wild. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and convenience."
