Everything was just as described and checking in was a breeze. The location was ideal, close to numerous restaurants and grocery stores.( highly recommend Giordano’s!) "I was very surprised that the property was by itself on a 2 lane road. We initially drove past it because there was nothing on the side of the road with the address. It was next to an odd and ugly"building." It was less than 10 minutes frim town, which was good. The house was clean, but REEKED of mildew. We bought stuff to help with the smell (which we left for future guests), but it was still bad. There was no toaster or microwave, and there was someone elase's Culver's in the freezer....

"Well maintained property with all the nooks and cranies spotless. Had a water incident with an overflowing sink upstairs and the staff action was immediate."

"The room was spacious and clean. Bed and bedding were comfortable. Good upholstered chair, refrigerator, lighting, lots of outlets. Breakfast coffee was good, always fresh and hot from an espresso based machine. TV couldn't connect to Wi-Fi. Room A/C cooled but didn't seem to lower humidity. Downstairs back door to outside did not always lock securely."

"The Craft de Italia Restaurant menu at Lodge Geneva National was very limited. I ordered the pork tenderloin with asparagus. The tenderloin was tasty but was too salty. The asparagus was inedible. It was unchewable. My wife said that it is just a decoration. Then why put it on a food plate. The price of the selection was high enough that it could have included a potato and/or a vegetable. I do not recommend this restaurant. The connected restaurants at nearby Geneva National are too inconvenient to go to, especially at night. The outside pool, bar and fire pit are excellent. The room also was very good."

"It’s very nice hotel rooms are fabulous. The only parking I did not like, have to pay daily for parking $17 a day or wake up to a parking ticket of $28. Was very disappointed cus you have to get up every morning go by 8:00am to pay parking so if your on vacation want to sleep in you can’t cus you have to pay for parking not a great experience."
