Huge buffet breakfast with lots of choice, friendly staff and very clean resort in central location

I had a fabulous stay at Merusaka. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely throughout. My room was beautiful, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything spotless each day. I really appreciated the option of an à la carte breakfast — the food was freshly prepared and the setting felt calm and relaxed. In contrast, the main buffet restaurant was quite crowded, and the variety and quality didn’t quite meet expectations. There were also a noticeable number of flies around the food. That aside, the grounds are stunning and the resort offers a great range of facilities, making it an overall enjoyable stay.

The staff was most accommodating and worked to ensure we had a pleasant experience. When you feel like they’re going above and beyond just because, it is appreciated.

Our villa with private pool was fantastic - very spacious, great A/C and excellent showers (there are multiple!) with great water pressure and lots of hot water. The wifi was surprisingly good (over 100/100). Delicious breakfast that you can have delivered to the villa at no additional cost. Loved that they provided a huge water dispenser with drinking water on the room!
