Located in the Lauquet valley on the edge of the village of Greffeil (two listed sites, the 18th century bridge and the 14th century roman church), a bioclimatic house, passive, comfortable, not overlooked, at garden level with swimming pool, with a nice view over the valley where the river offers beautiful swimming spots, adapted for couples (or with small child) nature lovers, people looking for calm or eager to discover good wines. A place to recharge your batteries, discover massages and taste local and organic products. Fans of cultural discoveries will enjoy visiting various tourist sites, for example the City of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, both designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Cathar Castles, Rennes - the castle made famous by the Da Vinci Code, Limoux Berceaux de la Blanquette Saint-Hilaire Abbey and its various medieval villages...The site offers, for people interested in hiking, climbing, horse riding, cycling (mountain biking), white water sports (like canyoning, rafting, canoeing, kayaking and swimming in white water), gliding and skiing, various activities on site or a bit further (by car, the Pic de Buggarach (1h), Puivert (1h), the Pyrenees (2h), the Montagne Noire (Black Mountain, 1h) and the sea (1h)...Your host, who likes theatre, will help you find the best programme...Or, at the end of the day, you can relax on the terrace while drinking a good wine, enjoy the last rays of sunshine and breathe...

Das Haus ist sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Im Haus und auf der überdachten Terrasse kann man es auch bei Hitze gut aushalten.Den kleinen Markt im Ort am Dienstagabend sollte man auf keinen Fall verpassen!Es hat uns sehr gefallen.

Si vous cherchez la tranquillité pour se ressourcer c est ici! Nous avons passé des vacances reposantes. Un petit village familial qui trouve son charme au sein du marché nocturne du mardi!! Nous avons adoré! La location tient parole tout est là pour vous faciliter la vie! Les propriétaires sont présents tout en étant respectueux de votre indépendance tout au long du séjour. Séjour idéal pour recharger les "batteries" Cadre reposant et bucolique. Petit bémol côté location: manque d'isolation phonique par rapport au logement du dessus. Et pour les frileux, manque de couvertures d'appoint ( les nuits sont encore fraîches au mois de mai)

French ‘fix’ satisfied

We had a wonderful week. We were made so welcome by the friendly owner and her family. The property is well equipped, comfortable and provided us with the peaceful environment we were in need of. The pool was very welcome, considering the glorious weather we enjoyed, although we were so busy discovering the surrounding area we didn’t make as much use of it as we would have liked.

Un dépaysement au top

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans le gîte de Laurence. Tout y est très propre, confortable et tout le nécessaire est à disposition. Le village est idéalement situé pour sillonner la région et y découvrir ses merveilles. Laurence est une hôte très agréable, extrêmement bienveillante et généreuse.
