Amazing ocean view, including surfing action at Swami's beach. Directly across from what can only be described as the "catwalk" for those who like to walk, run, or just people watch during down time. Place itself was very clean, and quiet considering proximity to train tracks and the street.

Location is the key with this one!

Cute beach house with great view and close to everything. Street noise can get loud but overall a great place to relax, hit the surf, take a walk and short distance to great shops and restaurants.

Family visit to California

Beautiful location and views. We had a very relaxing stay and we were able to take long walks with great views every day. My only suggestion would be to update the patio furniture.

Nope!

The photos don’t do justice to the look and smell of oldness in this house! You can see it needs some updating, but it goes much much deeper than that. The oven, for example, is original to this 1972 house. There is a VHS player, bronzed baby shoes, macrame, and electronics held up by tape. Some items in the house look like they have not been touched (or cleaned) in decades. The dining table and chairs were wobbly, and that cute outdoor swing had rusted chains holding it up. It felt like visiting my grandparents when I was little, except that I paid handsomely for this experience. As for the noise level… it is on a 2-lane street, paralleled by both PCH and the train tracks. The train was still going at 9:30pm, and we didn’t sleep well between the trains and the traffic. I also don’t think you can walk to any of these beaches in 10 mins. MAYBE if you cut across all traffic lanes and train tracks, but only maybe. I would not stay here again and do not understand the 5 star ratings.

Gorgeous View

This property suited our needs perfectly. The view was perfect and we enjoyed sunset every night. The proximity to beaches and downtown Encinitas made it easy to enjoy. We really loved our stay here.

A Perfect Gem

Maybe my favorite San Diego County location. Clean house, nice layout, great communication with the property manager and most of all, an epic view of the ocean. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location of a beautiful apartment

Had a really nice vacation in Encinitas in spite of the pandemic that was tangible everywhere. The view from the balcony was picture perfect (especially the sunsets) and it’s within walking distance of the beach. Only mild downside was a rather complicated and mildly antiquated TV-System (four or five remotes to juggle and DVDs instead of Streaming services) but that’s nothing to really complain about as the view from the balcony or living room is better than any TV ever gets...

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

You can't beat the location! The property is located directly across the street to a new railway bike path that connects you with Cardiff and Encinitas and within a short walk to a ton of restaurants and things to do. Plus, it is very close to Swami's Beach and an easy drive to the other beaches. The elevated patio offered some amazing sunset views and was very comfortable with the breeze blowing. Additionally, the property management company was extremely helpful and available for any and all questions.
