Very old building. Lift wasn’t working which didn’t bother me but makes it inaccessible. No aircon and room was warm with no way to open windows, but there was a fan in the room which worked ok.

Good, albeit somewhat outdated hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Close to streets with bars and nightlife, therefore noisy on most evenings and nights.

Near to Bute Park and shops so location is excellent. But the outside of Hotel is run down needs painting. Furniture a little outdated in bedrooms. And I heard bedroom doors banging during my stay.

Location is great. Breakfast is very standard, but the quality of the products was not great and lacked variety. The step-free gate entrance was difficult to access, and we were unable to use it. Noise isolation is bad; you can hear other guests from the corridor at late hours, not ideal for our baby. I would not stay here again.

The Angel Hotel in Cardiff is a wonderful place to stay. Its central location, right by Cardiff Castle and the Principality Stadium, makes it perfect for exploring the city. The historic building has real charm, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and overall the hotel offers great value. I’d happily stay again.

Had a lovely stay with my daughter staff were so friendly and kind, we were helped down with our suit cases by one of the house keeping staff because the lift was busy. Just a really enjoyable stay.

Very nice hotel in central Cardiff. Walking access to historic sites anduseums. Lots of dining and shopping options nearby Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at The Angel.

The hotel was clean and convenient! It was very central to everything (huge plus!). However, it was SO hot. It is an older building so this is to be expected. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
