「The bungalow is well equipped and with direct access to the beach. The pool is amazing and the staff very friendly. The only points to improve are the location of the parking area and that the metal roof does not have sound isolation so when it rain is very noisy.」

「The property was beautiful and clean, the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Having only one coffee in the room for the 4 mornings (i.e. not replaced each day) was disappointing, but forced us to go out for a local coffee instead. Having small/snack items for late arrivals and/or while the bar is open would be a great idea.」

「We booked a room based off the pictures in Expedia however the room we received was nowhere close what was on the pictures. Our room was also behind the bar and noisy. The AC also dint work in a country where the temperature went to 36C. The sink was broken. The room itself was very mediocre. The staff finally changed our rooms on day 3. The staff were very accommodating but the experience was extremely disappointing.」

「We were in room 29, it was spacious and even with screen windows it wasn’t too noisy from people nearby. The hammock on the porch was nice, and we got to see toucans in the tree by our front door. We also saw a huge iguana on the lawn, and a sweet orange cat. The bathroom was also large and clean. The shower did not have a handheld but it was a rain shower and had hot water pretty quickly. The strange wooden rack in the bathroom proved very useful to lay out clothes to try and get them to dry....

「Very friendly staff, nice pool. Food at the restaurant was really good too.」

「9/10!! Great staff. Good breakfast. Amazing views from the deck. Conveniently located downtown Tortuguero. The tour guide, Luis, we had was great. I highly recommend Casa Marbella, and their tours!」
