“Chose this hotel because it was close to a nearby town. I saw the outside and thought, "It's ok, it's only two nights. I've stayed in a similar place and the room is a clean refuge from a seedy outside." Nope. I took my stuff and stayed at my brother's house. The bed sheets were draping down to the floor under the comforter and the pillows were just thrown on the middle of the bed. There weren't lampshades on the lamps--so just bare bulbs. There was a refrigerator, but it was warm inside. ……

“I needed to change my room from a king bed to 2 queen beds. The clerk would not change it because I went through Expedia. He was extremely rude and unhelpful.”

“No contact check in, yet was greeted warmly by hostess explaining everything we needed. Beautiful, quiet place! In the area with my mother and daughter to spread my father's ashes where he loved to fish (dugger/ wampler lake area)for years. What an unexpected find. Daughter so enjoyed your(WELL!) stocked catch and release pond! Sure hope to get the opportunity to come stay again!!”

“Property was dirty, and poorly maintained, upon checking in the floors were dirty with ironic wet floor signs placed around without the hotel looking mopped in some time. Despite checking reserving a room through Expedia, I was asked to pay what seemed a discriminatory "safety deposit" separate from my booking of either $50 credit or $100 cash for "damages"...I opted for debit and a week later I have not been refunded as . Upon entering my room a similar standard of upkeep was evident. The……

“We only stayed one night. Basically used the room to sleep. After check-in we left to attend to personal business and didn't return until bedtime. Before leaving I checked the air conditioner. It was set to 62 degrees, on cool, fan speed high. Definitely no where close to 62 degrees. I did not contact the front office to report any problem. I thought it might be due to the high outside temperature at the time (in excess of 90 degrees). I set the air conditioner to 70 degrees, on cool,……

“It is an old refurbished motel for a reasonable price. Everything worked as it was supposed to. The size of the room was adequate and well lit. Coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave were available. The bed was comfortable. Parking was a little cramped, and no breakfast was served. Do not expect luxury, but it has all I needed.”

“It served its purpose. Pros: Comfortable bed. Cold fridge (not always a guarantee at a budget chain hotel). Gave me a room upgrade of sorts and choice at check-in, which was kind. Quiet area. Convenient location. Cons (and to be fair, I didn't raise this with the hotel because for a 1 night stay on a road trip, it didn't feel worth the effort, but ...): Door was ajar when I got in (likely a cleaning miscommunication; nothing was "wrong" in the room). AC unit worked but has clearly seen better……

“Bed looked like it was slept in... Thermostat was locked and un-adjustable... No drinking water or breakfast or any food for that matter as advertised. No live TV (only paid apps tv were available (Was there during the World Series... not cool) But the coffee maker worked. Good work guys!”
