Amazing Location

Great Location but the condo lacked a few items. Cooking essentials would great like spices and pot holders. Pillows and bed were ok but not fabulous. Again the location is amazing but things are beginning to need attention and repair. A few shades broken, etc. They were wonderful to deal with so that was a plus!

Beautiful Location

The condo was lovely. Only negative was the unusual bedroom layout. The big bedroom has two queen beds, and the small one had two very small twin beds. We were traveling with adult children. It just didn't work. A queen bed in the small bedroom would have given more options.

Fall Break

Unfortunately, the pictures online make the property appear very up to date. The condo was not truly remodeled. Bathroom had toilet lid that didn’t even fit toilet, no ac, smelly old carpet, it is in need of a paint job in the worst way, mold on ceiling, rust on vents, all the lamps are rusted from moisture and mildew, front door has a gap you can stick your hand through, bugs came flying and crawling in the door and can’t open a window for air flow no screens. location and property manager Adrian was great but I would not recommend this place for what we paid.

Ocean view and walking distance to Village

The condo was co for table and clean with a beautiful ocean view. Patio fits 3 comfortably. Beach chairs available as well as shared laundry down one level. Beds comfortable and had extra blankets and beach towels. Suggest switching the queen to the room with the twins and moving a twin next to the King! Great stay and would go back!

Great Beach Getaway

The location is great and centrally located to a ton of restaurants, bars and shops. The view when you walk in the door is amazing and it looks like you are floating in the middle of the ocean. The fact that they have boogie boards and beach chairs makes life so much easier and the kids spent nine hours a day in the ocean. We could’ve had a better time.

Just perfect! Highly recommend

We truly enjoyed our New Years Getaway. Everything was as advertised and even better. The management team is responsive, kind and on-site everyday. The unit is in a perfect location and the beach is lovely. We live in San Diego, and feel especially lucky to have had this "staycation" . It was a great start to the new year and we'll be back for sure.

Amazing views & location

This condo has wonderful unobstructed views and sits right on the beach, and only two blocks from Carlsbad Village shops and restaurants. The fireplace was super nice and made listening to waves crash extra cozy. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing place in the heart of Carlsbad

We had a fantastic vacation in Carlsbad. Property was exactly as described. Being right on the beach saved us from having to pack up the car to find a nice beach or walk a few blocks with all the beach stuff in hand. Although we didn't have any issues, it was nice knowing the office was right onsite and property managers are always available by phone. Being right in Carlsbad village, we didn't have to use our vehicle much as almost everything was within walking distance. Looking forward to our next stay at Seashore on the Sand. Thanks Ed and team for the great stay!

Absolutely perfect!

Our new favorite getaway. The location was perfect and everything about the rental was exactly what we were looking to relax. The decor and design was impeccable and clean. We loved sitting on the coach watching and listening to the waves. There isn't a better place to watch the sunsets over the ocean. We are already making plans to go back and stay longer.

2nd visit was even better than the 1st!!!!

Seashore on the Sand has done renovations since our last visit 2 years ago. I will tell you -- it was amazing before, but even better now. We stayed in a 2 BR unit and had the most amazing view of the ocean. Many nights I sat on my balcony and watched the sunset. It was by far my favorite time of day. I would encourage you to consider this property. Ed and Lisa were amazing hosts and took care of anything we needed which was not much given the condo was well stocked. I strongly recommend Seashore on the Sand!

Home away from home

We have been staying at Seashore off and on for about 18 years. It is a home away from home for us. Obviously, staying right on the beach is amazing for the views and the easy access back and forth to the beach, but we also love that we can walk almost everywhere to get food and shopping. We will be back.

Nice space, convenient location

I stayed at Seashore by the Sand with my son for a week over spring break, it is a nice home base to come back to after long days on the beach or out at Legoland. It was so nice to wake up every morning, sit on the patio, and watch the waves come in. The unit was in good condition, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is also close to the main strip of Carlsbad, so it was easy to walk the village.

Quite lovely!

We were just at Seashore on the Sand for Thanksgiving (Nov. , 2016) and found it a lovely place to have Thanksgiving dinner for 6 people. The rooms are decorated with a light beach feel and the view and access to the beach and ocean couldn't be better. We were on the fourth floor and, you do need to walk down three sets of stairs. The sun sets at this time of year, right of the porch. We definitely hope to come again. We had our 5 year old grand daughter stay with us and she loved it. Lucy and Bob

Amazing views, comfortable condo, fantastic location

This property was the best place we've rented with VBRO so far. It exceeded our expectations. One of the most relaxing vacations ever. When we arrived, we parked the vehicle and only used it once during the week. Everything we needed or wanted was a 5-10 minute walk away. The beach is gorgeous. The patio overlooks it for great people watching. We saw quite a few dolphins. The manager Curt was wonderful. Always available and immediately took care of a couple minor issues with the condo. We will most definitely be back.

Loved it!

My family and I loved this condo! The view was stunning! We loved being right on the beach, plus walking distance to several restaurants and shops. The condo was very nice, it was clean, cozy, and there was more than enough space for our family of 4. It was also very convenient, with plenty of towels, and even beach chairs we could use. I highly recommend this condo and I will definitely be a returning customer.

pure perfection

Location, condition and amenities are my three criteria when researching a vacation spot. This property got a TEN OUT OF TEN for all three qualities! LOCATION: We parked our car and didn't get back into it until it was time to leave. Within walking distance were a multitude of fantastic restaurants (one delivers pizza on the sand), a daily visit to an ice-cream shop and a store to pick up a new pair of sunglasses. The property itself sits right on the sand without a public walkway between you and the sand, like so many other towns. The beach had soft sand all the way out into the ocean - no nasty pods of seaweed or rocks to navigate. The waves were perfect for pushing me in on a boogie board, yet not "scary chop you in half strong". And there isn't one of those quick drop offs - the little ones can wade way out and have fun jumping over the mini waves. CONDITION: Very clean, completely updated and totally comfortable. (Yup - just one sentence here - condition was perfect.) AMENITIES: I had everything I could of possibly needed. All the extra towels, pillows, blankets were there. Plenty of tools in the kitchen. A nice big TV, though the only reason why we had it on was for catching a few moments of the Olympics. Our rental was on the third floor on the 'southern' side corner, which gave us amazing views of the ocean. An added bonus is the balcony - this building sits a little further out than the one next to it, so we had the pleasure of seeing down the beach as far as the eye could see. The view was even that much more enjoyable because I didn't have to keep repositioning myself to see through railings - the only thing between me and the view was a crystal clear piece of glass. I could also take in the view from the most comfortable reclining couch from inside the living room. And even though our bedroom was not beachside, I could still hear the ocean very well as I was falling asleep and waking up. And that was the only thing we ever heard - the ocean. Also - another added bonus here - tons of beach chairs, toys, umbrellas and boogie boards all for us to share and enjoy. You don't need to bring your own! Okay, and one last thing about amenities which might seem silly to some, but totally appreciated by our family - the shower heads were amazing!!! So, yes, I highly, highly recommend staying here. I will most definitely return. And do know, the hospitality was wonderful if you do need anything else, though you probably won't.

Family trip

We shared unit #401 with our daughter, husband and two boys. It was perfect. The twin air beds for the boys were a great touch---easy to put away when not in use. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit the San Diego area. The beach is awesome!
