“Room very clean, great breakfast variety. No TV in main room. Shower water cool and once warm went cold very quickly. Lovely warm room and cosy bed.”

“No wifi available, which was very disappointing. The gas heater turned off regularly (every 15 mins or so) and had to turned on again so the room was not continually cosy and warm. There was a reverse cycle air conditioner but that was not sufficient to heat the room for Winter temperatures. There was very little reception for the TV so not all channels were available. The room itself was nice and big and set out well but definitely needed some maintenance, particularly to the front door and……

“10 mins walking distance to Macedon Railway Station, this hotel is convenience to anyone who is not driving. Besides, we made dinner at the self-serviced kitchen, this is also one of the good features of this motel! However, the hotel is suggested to pay more attention on HOUSEKEEPING. No one came to clean the room for few days and we have to request and ask for toilet papers twice for a long period of staying there.”

“Great stay for a family of five in older style motel setting. Clean and comfortable and close to town. Heating worked a treat and we appreciated the electric blankets, spare blankets and pillows. For a budget family stay in Daylesford it does the job perfectly.”

“Not worth the money. Very run down venue which needs a good update. It took 2 and a half days for the host to source gluten free bread and was delivered at 10:30pm.”

“Prompt response to any questions, very quick communication. Easy self check in. Nice little touches and attention to detail. Comfy Bed, Good heating. Parking a bit tight, but we parked ok. Great restaurant/pub across the road. Walkable to main street, but beware of distance if you want easy walkable access to everything.”

“Love our stay! The building itself is a beautiful historic architecture. We stayed in the Zebra room, the view was stunning overseeing the whole town. Breeze coming in from window was really nice. Fireplace and deep bathtub are also highlights of our stay. The host provided generous breakfast bits and small snacks for us in the room, it was very sweet of them! Also love the contactless check in and out, plenty of privacy for couple, We will definitely come back. ”
