「Becca and Tony made us feel very welcome, both before arrival and during our stay. The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. Some of the automatic, sensor lights seemed to take a bit of working out with some switches not in an obvious place.Tip: Take or buy a rubber mat for the shower rooms, especially if mobility is an issue.Very quiet and dark at night.」

「We loved our stay here! Clean and had a great sleep. Brilliant price for somewhere to stay close to York. Carpark was a little full and some bad parking meant it was a space down, but not the owners fault. Highly recommend for an affordable cute little getaway! Would definitely return」

「Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly.
Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub.
Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region.
The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us)
Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs.」
