Hull, with its futuristic aquarium ’The Deep’, Leeds and the Royal Armouries, and the elegant spa town of Harrogate are all within an hour’s drive. The coastal resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby are easily accessible. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
Had a wonderful 5 days here. Plenty of space. Fully kitted kitchen to cook meals in. 3 double bedrooms. The dog loved the nature and sat on the decking for hours. Owners on hand if you need them but did not see them otherwise. Highly recommended!

Becca and Tony made us feel very welcome, both before arrival and during our stay.
Becca and Tony made us feel very welcome, both before arrival and during our stay. The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. Some of the automatic, sensor lights seemed to take a bit of working out with some switches not in an obvious place.Tip: Take or buy a rubber mat for the shower rooms, especially if mobility is an issue.Very quiet and dark at night.
