The 3rd guest bedroom 'Deep Blue' is adjacent to the main bathroom and has a queen bed, desk, 2 chairs, full-sized washer and dryer and sliding doors to the deck with Green Belt views. The ground floor has lots of windows and natural sunlight and offers the 4th "First Floor Suite", also with a view of Point Lobos from bed. The Hot Tub is on the ground floor deck with a fenced in garden area, fire-table and outdoor lounge area. Each room has its own original character while still blending with the Big Sur-style Lodge.
The front Orange door welcomes you as you enter the house into the upper Office/Den Loft with full office desk, with a copier/printer and shredder, a 2nd writing desk and large coffee table perfect for puzzles and games. It has a queen-sleeper couch. Well behaved dogs are welcome and there is a generous fenced in dog-run. This newly renovated home* is a dedicated Vacation Rental. We've got the VIEWS on Crestview that is right off Hwy 1 and an easy 1 mile from the quintessential Village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Though we need to "batten down the hatches" and clear furniture from the decks when BIG STORMS arrive, you can enjoy the storm and the white water 'sprays' from the bay below from the view inside the house. Installation of New Solar Panels and Solar Batteries help to keep the power on during storms as the forest + rain + wind can mean prolonged power outages here in Carmel. Follow along Mother Nature's show and the powerful wind gusts with the house's weather station and stay safe and cozy with the fireplace to "weather the storm". This property is best suited for adults as all doors open to the outside wrap around deck. This Oasis is calm and peaceful and the decks are not suited for loud and energetic families that need an open space to run around. Well behaved children that are mature and can be respectful of the property with acknowledgement of house rules by guests when booking.
