“We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 sons using this as a base to explore Tuscany including Florence, Sienna, and Pisa. It was a perfect location arriving back each evening to enjoy the pool and relax on the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Nicola was an excellent host and was there to answer any questions, make excellent recommendations and provide any services we needed. ”

“Outside of city center however it was a nice reprieve from the noise and chaos. there are some wonderful neighborhood gems for restaurants and the bus runs regularly and reliably. Only negative was when we reached out to the host upon arriving at the building, the host took 10 minutes to reply and to remotely open the door which after a long day of travel and standing in 90*+ heat with multiple children outside, it was very frustrating. “The first night, the electricity shut off four times. I was in the shower in complete darkness. There was also no hot water, so we had to take cold showers.
The apartment is very old and does not look like the pictures shown in the listing. It is located on the second floor with no elevator, so we had to carry all of our luggage upstairs ourselves.
I do not recommend this apartment. It is definitely not worth the price we paid.”

“The room itself was fine. There is no elevator so we had to drag our luggage up the dark stair well. Apparently, there is a cooking school next door that gets quite loud when there are groups of people inside making pasta. They have no one at the facility so they can’t store your luggage. Just a few things we wish we knew before we got there.”
