I’ll start by saying we picked very poor accommodations for our situation, so that’s on us. We were four adults siblings one SIL looking for a mini-reunion, meaning a good amount of communal time. The bedroom accommodations weren’t a good fit: one room with four bunkbeads suited no one and the garage bedroom space had an unacceptable musty smell, besides being virtually inaccessible (choice of spiral “staircase” or exterior access) from the main living area. There was no fan in what became the communal bathroom: awkward. TV viewing was disappointing: all we wanted were local network stations so we could perhaps watch football and local weather and we couldn’t do either. I liked the location’s beach access. I liked that there were incidentals like spices, oils, etc possibly left by former guests (which I absolutely appreciate) but one of our party mentioned the creamer was spoiled. There was already garbage in the kitchen trash can when we arrived. There was damage to ceilings which IMO detracts from the property. It bears noting somewhere that we were given the wrong address for our accommodations, which was frustrating and infuriating. When I expressed my frustration, I was told ‘what’s the big deal? It’s only a mile or so from here.’ That was the infuriating part. Plus the numerous and excessive fees, while I appreciate that they didn’t come as a surprise, make it unlikely that I personally would consider Vrbo as an option for future travel, even though it’s possible we ‘
