Things that need attention...

Carpet needed cleaning. Seen couple of spiders daily plus roaches. Had to spray around the walls and doors. The comforters needed to be washed. But over all a good stay..

Great Time

We enjoyed our stay here. Please was nice, clean and well kept. Just like the pictures. We had 4 adult girls and didn't have any problems. Plenty of cookware, plates, utensils, glassware, bowls... This is the first place that cleans out everything like spices, trash bags...we had to bring everything but it tells you that. no worries. beds were comfortable. Easy walk to beach or to downtown Carolina Beach. Loved being on the sound side to watch the boats. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio and watching the boats go by. Plenty of parking. we would stay here again.

great location if...

You don't mind not being ON the beach. Having a view of the inlet, the boats, and the lights at night and having our own dock was fantastic. The walk to the beach was short so to me you get to enjoy both views. We walked to the beach every morning to see the sunrise. The house was great. The area is good- everywhere we went the people were so nice and helpful. The property was clean and in great condition. There were a few small things that could use some attention but I think that is normal for any property and they did endure a hurricane the year before. We called about one problem and the property manager responded immediately and had someone there the next day and had it corrected within 24 hours. For a fact the sunset is nicer staying on the inlet- plus with a dock you can kayak or paddle around on a board- which we did- as well as fish. Pretty much anything you need is less than 10 minutes away.

Dissapointed

The best thing about this place is the location. It's close to the beach and we loved the dock. Other than that, there were several issues with the property. -We got to the place after traveling for 8 hours and there was no toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, hand soap, or dish soap. When I texted the property manager I was told that I had to buy my own (which I've never seen in any VRBO I have stayed at). I was told that it was listed in the multiple page contract I signed (who reads that word for word?). They should've put that in the actual listing. -In the kitchen, the knives were all chipped and unsafe to use -My brother (who's quite slender) sat outside on a chair and fell through hurting himself and cut himself -We were told we had to put the dishwasher on before leaving, however the start button is hidden under the cabinet and not able to be actually pressed -The water pressure was non-existent -Despite having multiple bathrooms, you couldn't take more than one shower at a time (2 of us were showering when the water stopped mid shampoo in hair) -Took out a "clean" spoon that was covered in butter -The entire place was incredibly outdated which is sad considering how much I paid for the place. -Out of the 6 burners on the grill, only 1 worked and the grill was covered in sharp shards which, again, is unsafe to use -The shower curtain was moldy -Upstairs bathroom fan doesn't work **I would not stay here again considering all the other options in the area

Great location

My only concern or comment is that I felt it was overpriced based on amenities. While clean, it was old and in need of updating, decor and appliances and furniture. It is ok to leave as is, people will enjoy it, but price would need to come down

Beautiful inner coastal view

This was a nice rental that was perfect for the 4 of us. I initially thought this was an entire house, but realized this was a shared/split house after rented. No worries, because the neighbors are awesome! The dock and boat slip is shared as well and great to fish off of. The evening and morning view is absolutely beautiful!
