Girl's Trip!

We had a fabulous time. The house has a great lay out and so many amenities! The view of the ocean is just as good as front row. The hot tub and pool were perfect. We had a fantastic time and are already planning for next year!

A Perfect Place for Family!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Waters Edge and it truly exceeded our expectations. The house was immaculate and perfectly suited for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids (ranging from 4 months to 9 years old). Every detail was thoughtfully considered to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable for both adults and children.The upstairs playroom was a major hit with the kids—they spent every moment they weren’t at the beach or in the pool enjoying the games and toys. The home was fully stocked with everything needed for a beach vacation, from chairs and umbrellas to beach toys and towels, which made packing and planning so much easier.One of the standout aspects of our stay was the exceptional communication and care from the owner. We had a unique request ahead of our visit, and the owner personally reached out to help coordinate and ensure everything worked out smoothly. It was clear they genuinely cared about making our stay special.The location was also ideal—far enough from the busy restaurant and nightlife areas to enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings, but close enough to easily walk or take a golf cart to dinner or ice cream.This home made for a memorable, stress-free vacation, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Our family spent a week in this gorgeous home and would stay again! After picking up keys directly across the street, we were welcomed with a gift basket (beach pail) and bottle of wine. The home had everything we needed, including the bougiest beach chairs:). The beach access was a 1-2 min walk, beach was clean and not too crowded. Check out process was also super easy. Highly recommend!!

Carolina Beach Family Vacation

This property was in a great location in Carolina Beach, NC. It's a newer property, well decorated, and well equipped with everything you need for a great family vacation at the beach. It includes an elevator which makes things very convenient for bringing things in and out of the home. The pool and spa are also an excellent bonus features in a beach property. The only issue to be aware of is that it states it can accommodate up to 13 people, but it only has two full baths and two half baths. We had 9 people (5 adults and 4 kids) and made the bath situation work. Overall, this is an excellent property and I give it 5 stars.

Not what was expected

Overall it was okay. For the price the house did not meet our expectation. There are SO MANY stairs. The elevator doesn’t really work. You cannot access the pool without going outside down the stair from the front and walking to the back. It doesn’t have a good flow. In the master bedroom you’re not able to use the closet. Which I think out of all the rooms the master should be the closet. The bedding is okay. THE KITCHEN COOK WEAR is awful. The pots and pans are scratched up horribly and almost completely unusable. Need new ones asap. The utensils were peeling off black everywhere! Very cheap kitchenware that is clearly very very old. The pool turned anything light/ white green including anyone that has blonde hair. I reached out to them about it and nothing was done during our stay. It’s saltwater so that shouldn’t happen. I sent them photos. The Keurig coffee machine didn’t work. THE FRONT DOOR was almost impossible to unlock! It took us 20 tries to open the door when we got there and had to go get someone to open it which also took them a moment. Also getting the door unlocked in the morning was very difficult. It took all your force to pull the door in to be able to switch the lock and I know this sounds exaggerative but it’s not. My 13 year old niece was locked in the house and could not open the door on her own to come meet us at the beach. Overall it was just okay and would be better if these things were fixed. Not worth the price.
