「It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.!」

「The property is very comfortable and convenient to pool and beach with children. Very clean and so quaint. The pool is great but had a few little places where the concrete was a little rough around the drain. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cottage. 」

「The Inn is in a great location. It has direct beach access. It has picnic tables and a gazebo with tables and chairs. The Inn is showing it's age and both the sleeping area and bathroom floors were sandy. 」

「have no complaints about my stay at the cypress moon inn, you cannot beat this place for the price. Location is beautiful, with a balcony that gives you a nice view of the sound side. Breakfast is some fruit and muffins, restocked each day. It's a light breakfast, perfect for starting your day. There's a Walmart nearby just in case you forget or need to pick up anything. 「The property is undergoing renovations and there were some noticeable issues with ongoing projects but the room was very nice and the staff were very accommodating. The pool was a nice escape from the ocean waves. Wish the pool had been open after dark. Overall a very nice escape and we plan on returning for another stay probably in the off-season as well as next year.」

「What a gem of a place. The view from the waterside rooms is worth every penny! This place had that old school charm and hospitality you don’t get anywhere else these days. Bruce the bartender makes the stay memorable and makes you feel welcome. Book it for the views, stay for the stories, and enjoy the tiki bar and pool. I will be coming back next year. Such a memorable trip with this place. Bonus is the water sports are just outside the hotel and you get free access to the huge gym facility...

「Amazing stay! Linda was AWESOME! She went out of her way to keep us updated on Hurricane Erin -got the green light and luckily enough we were able to keep our plans for our vacation and stay at the OBX Motor Lodge !! Great oceanfront location and super clean! Decor is definitely more upgraded than others at the price !! Linda, you rock and we hope to see you in November !! 」

「This is a great little Inn. It seems to still have renovations. It was clean. The doors were a concern for me. Didn’t feel secure but I didn’t see it as a problem. The water was turned off by the city and I wasn’t able to have a shower. This would have been something to inform the guests with prior to arrival or at least the morning of. 」
