Took our first family vacation with our daughter and dog and stayed here. It was a great experience from start to finish, Richie was an amazing host. The cabin was very clean, well put together and the view was so beautiful. Definitely would recommend and we will be back next year.

Warm and cozy cabin stay!

Great warm cabin for a one night stay that was halfway to our final destination. Amazing communication with host and greeted us at arrival. Good location in quiet neighborhood- only struggle, we thought was due to time of year, was the amount of restaurants open the night we stayed. We did find a good spot and toured a quiet downtown of Mackinaw City with snow. Would recommend!

Looks like there were some upgrades since the last time we stayed, made it so much more comfortable! The only complaint is the gas fireplace rattled like crazy every time it kicked on, it was super loud. Didn’t ruin the weekend and we look forward to the next visit!

It was exactly what me and my wife were looking for. We stayed here for our honeymoon and after all the wedding planning and chaos, this cabin was a perfect recharge station for us. I booked 2 nights, but I wish I would've booked it longer. It was peaceful and a nice change of pace for us. We are planning on making it a yearly tradition going forward.

We rented this property to be near Mackinaw City for the Labor Day Bridge Walk. It was perfect! The cabin is rustic and quaint. Certainly wish we would have been able to stay longer! Property owner was very welcoming! Steps from the lake - beautiful sunset!

Great little rustic cabin

Great location in close proximity to many things to do. The cabin was perfect and as described. Ah the basics you need are there, but I would recommend being the things the owner recommends. We would definitely stay again should we ever be in the area again. The pet policy is excellent also. Traveling with a giant breed has it's challenges and it was great we were able to bring both our dogs.

Everything was so easy! The minute we exited the car we were greeted by the wonderful sweet smell of nature. The lahe is beautiful and watching the canoes and pontoon boats and water skiers filled our days. Loved this spot! Exactly as described.

Very peaceful!!! The cabins had everything needed to make the stay very enjoyable! We stayed in cabin #7 and wish we would have been able to enjoy the cabin and rustic atmosphere longer!! Will definitely return! The host Richie introduced himself and inquired if there was anything we needed or questions we had that he could help answer! Very hospitable!! Perfect short vacation

Cute cottage on the lake. Rustic charm. Linen on the beds were quality and comfort like a nice hotel. Beds were medium firm and comfortable. Kerig coffee maker made the morning coffee easy to get so you can watch the sunrise over the lake. Just stunning views. Some upgrades to think about would be rug in bathroom the bath mat towel was not enough. More towels for showering and a shower head, maybe a few more pillows, paper towel, tissue. Over all a great stay would love to come back and bring family and friends.
