The nearest train station we used was Camucia. We would recommend renting a car to have to drive around the area and surrounding areas. Otherwise, it will be hard to get around. “John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. “We enjoyed a very pleasant two weeks in Villa Marghi together with our dog. Villa Marghi is situated in a unique location and the view to the lake, Lago di Trasimeno, is incredible especially at sunset.
