Welcome to Carpinteria! We are just across the street from the beach, on the corner of Sandyland Road and Elm St. in the La Cabana complex.

We love our condo and take good care of it. We furnish it as we would our own home, as we like to stay here at times ourselves. The condo has lots of sunlight, views of the mountains, and cross breezes (we are an end-unit.)

The unit is a completely and beautifully renovated 2 bdrm condo (One king, one queen) in a quiet complex- Pergo floors, granite counter tops, newly painted sky blue, tile bathroom floor. It is full of light, and is peaceful and comfortable. There is one bathroom with a tub and shower.

You can walk across the street to Carpinteria Beach, one of the loveliest, safest, cleanest beaches at the South Central Coast. We provide beach towels, beach chairs and toys to take over to the sand with you. Linden St. with shops and reataurants is one block over.

The swimming pool is heated, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped, There are gas grills and picnic tables for your use, and an onsite laundry facility.

The wildlife refuge is a short walk and has excellent birding. The seal rookery is down the beach. Dolphins and whales swim offshore. Carpinteria is a lovely beachside town for walking around, with good restaurants, shops, parks, artists' shops, antique stores, and palm tree lined streets.

Santa Barbara is 15 minutes up Rt. 101, with many family activities and attractions: shops; zoo; botanical gardens; bike paths; watersports, art museum, natural history museum . Summerland is a great nearby town for antiquing and many wineries are nearby.

Our rates include the 15% town tax that Carpinteria requires, We aim for a reasonable rate. Our Carpinteria rental license is 1046-VR-21.

Nicely upgraded condo only 1 block to beautiful sandy beach. Quiet complex, ample parking, attractively landscaped. Fully stocked kitchen made mealtime easy. Paul was easy to contact and quickly answered any questions we had. Carpinteria is a wonderful small beach town with stylish downtown offering many shops and restaurants to visit. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Paul’s place in Carp. You can’t beat the location, and the complex itself was very quiet compared to others nearby, even during the summer. We had a small hiccup with the property, but Paul answered our first phone call and had it all handled within hours very professionally. We will be back!

We were so pleased to find this 2 bedroom gem close to the beach in Carpinteria. The condo was cleam, well appointed, comfy beds, beautiful grounds and pool just a short stroll to the beach. Great week here in Carp

We recently stayed at this property for a week while attending a UCSB graduation, and our experience was nothing short of perfect. The location was ideal, allowing us to walk everywhere – from the grocery store and restaurants to trails overlooking the ocean and, most importantly, the beach. At low tide, we enjoyed an incredible 8-mile roundtrip walk on the beach, passing the seal sanctuary when the seals were out to sea.The accommodations were excellent. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with common staples like salt, sugar, and olive oil, which made our stay even more convenient. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and even cooked a few dinners, satisfying our college kid's craving for home-cooked meals. The property’s pool and laundry facilities were also a great bonus and were frequently used. I can't speak to the tv as we didn't turn it on the entire time. Communication with the owner was superb. He was very responsive and even came to assist us when we had trouble with the door keypad.Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely return if we have the opportunity. Highly recommended!

Cabaña Carpinteria

I’ve stayed in all of the condo complexes now on Sandyland over the years and this unit and spot is now top of my list. The rental has everything you need and feels like a true home away from home. Love when the pantry has the essentials like oils, salt pepper spices etc. The unit feels well loved and taken care of. Walk everywhere. Pool was heated to perfection. And the beds were ultra comfortable. The host was super responsive and I know we’ll be back. My only tip would be to bring your own beach chairs and boogie boards. While the owner did provide them in the unit, the boards werent usable and the chairs were really well worn.

Another great visit

We love staying here (our second time) and La Cabana is such a nice complex. So close to the beach, easy walk into town, just perfect all around. And the weather treated us well.
