Great stay!

Second time staying at this property and it didn’t disappoint. House is well maintained and in a great neighborhood. The owner must appreciate food because the kitchen is stocked with great cookware, appliances, and gadgets. They also put a lot of effort into making the back yard nice…. covered patio, nice grill, clean landscaping, and fire pit. We look forward to staying here the next time we’re in NC!

A Perfect Stay

This place is a gem. Check-in instructions were spot on! I have never accessed a vacation rental and gotten connected to WiFi so efficiently. Plenty of extra towels, blankets, and an amazingly well stocked kitchen! The only thing better than the property was the communication of the owners - incredibly prompt and very flexible! I can't wait for an opportunity to stay here again!

The most perfect Carborro mill house

A lovely renovation to an historic mill house. Kitchen and bathroom upgrades were first rate. It is clear that the owner has an impecable eye for details, such as oversized fluffy towels, comfortable bedding and cozy area rugs. The yard is gorgeous and fully fenced in, with attractive and functional lighting. The kitchen was well stocked. I can't say enough about how pleasant our stay was

Great Access To Downtown Carrboro

This is a great location if you like walking to downtown destinations. Many coffee shops and restaurants along the way.

Fenced in yard was perfect for our two little dogs! Beds were comfortable. Rain shower head was awesome! Water, snacks, Iron, griddle, Keurig, laundry were nice touches! Host communication was excellent too!

Carrboro Cottage in Chapel Hill, NC

What a lovely find! The listing was accurate but actually much nicer in person. The fenced in backyard was so pleasant. I could totally live here. Awesome decor and lots of nice touches, like the dry snacks. It would have been nice to have a binder w/ printed instructions so I don't have to log in, especially for the TV which was confusing, and for local restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay there again.

Carborro House

Stayed Easter weekend while visiting our daughter at UNC… weather wasn’t ideal to enjoy the backyard, but the home was cozy and kitchen was well stocked, which allowed us to all hang out and enjoy a nice meal together.

Great house near UNC

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. Location was convenient to UNC and all activities we wanted to do. Enjoyed seeing deer and hearing woodpeckers daily with convenient in town location. House is well stocked with nice amenities. Made s’mores at the fire pit. We will definitely be back!

Great Location and Very Comfy Stay!

The house is newly renovated and offers all the comforts that you could want from a well stocked kitchen with seasonings, snacks etc., very stylish and comfy furniture, to a fantastic back yard with fire pit and fenced in yard! We stayed 4 days for our son's graduation from UNC and walked into town for dinners. The three bedrooms and two baths worked out perfectly for us! Couldn't have been more perfect for our family of 6 and 1 dog!!

UNC Football game

House conveniently located to UNC campus. We used Uber to get back and forth on game day. House exactly as pictured in listing. Had everything we needed for weekend stay. Neighborhood was quiet. Parking adequate. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful, Charming House in Our Happy Place

Stayed four nights here, this was the third place we found to stay during visits to Carrboro over the past few years. Although each place has been very lovely, we feel that this one was definitely a) the best location near town, b) the best back yard and fire pit and c) the decor was a fully personal and artistic sharing of the owner's eclectic, hygge aesthetic. For us, it was reminiscent of how we love to decorate, accentuated by a warm, inviting color palate. Everything we needed for our stay was available, just right for our stay with two small dogs. There is now a roof covering the back deck (complete with heater) and a delightfully enchanting sculpted rock garden path in the back yard that were not pictured of the current rental photos. All in all, the home was better than expected for us and we hope to return. Thank you!

Lovely stay in Carrboro

We spent 5 great days at this lovely house in Carrboro which was just perfect for four of us and our two Goldens. The house is welcoming, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, with great attention to detail. The kitchen has great appliances and utensils and is so well stocked - it was a pleasure to cook there. Our dogs loved the fenced back yard and it was also easy to go on very pleasant walks close by. The house is very well situated, close to Carrboro center, shops and restaurants and also just a few minutes drive from the UNC campus. The owner was very helpful and responsive and clearly wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect little place

The house is beautifully updated and the back deck and yard is an oasis. Our dog loved the yard. The bedrooms are cozy and the bathrooms are modern. I especially liked the walk-in shower. The kitchen has anything you would need including spices, although we didn’t taken advantage of them. The main room is a great place to hang out with the large screen tv. Also the entire place has modern lighting that can be dimmed. Check-in and out was easy and communication with the owner and contact person was good too. The snacks and fresh flowers were a nice extra touch. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing location, great property

We had a great time staying at this property for four nights while we awaiting our moving truck to arrive at our new house in the area. The house was very clean and stocked with almost everything you would need. We were able to cook two nights in the kitchen and it was so nice having the pantry stocked. Snacks and waters too! The yard was super nice and well kept with a nice deck and full fence so our dogs could easily go in and out as needed. Owner was extremely responsive and flexible with us as we had to extend our stay twice due to delays with our delivery. 5 stars on this all the way around!

Great place, difficult check-in

This rental is just as gorgeous and comfy as the pictures show -- we had a fantastic time staying here on a lovely fall weekend in CH. Our check-in was a bit rocky though. If you rent this place, be advised that access codes will not simply be in the check-in email, you have to reach out to a property manager who may or may not be available on the day of your check in. It would be helpful for the subject line of this email to say "Response required" or something similar so that it's obvious that guests need to reach out to the property manager. Better yet, include all necessary check in details into the email! Thankfully, the owner reached out to me directly about thirty minutes after our check-in time, but it made for a pretty stressful road trip not knowing if I would be able to get into the property when I arrived. Hope they sort this out! This place is gorgeous and otherwise we had a delightful weekend!

Too early check out time

The house is magnificent and beautifully appointed. Everything we could ever possibly need was accounted for. JUST BEAUTIFUL! My only complaint was the early check out time. If we didn’t have to strip the bedding (three beds), gather the linens, and take out the trash, it wouldn’t have been a problem. We paid a hefty cleaning fee, so I’m not sure why we had to take on so much cleaning. Also, we got an early email from the cleaning staff to see what time we were leaving. Did they expect us to leave any earlier? We felt rushed. Apart from this, the stay was beautiful.

Very nice house

This home is very well done. It has nice furnishings and is very close to downtown. I would definitely stay again. My only issues were that the bedrooms don’t have TVs, there’s only one in the living room, and the kitchen does draw ants if you leave dishes in the sink. Overall though, it’s a cute property in a quiet neighborhood.

Relax in Carrboro

Nice comfortable home in Carrboro NC. Beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen. Quiet street this is within walking distance of almost everything you need. Nice back deck and back yard to enjoy the birds, rabbits, and occasional deer passing through. Really enjoyed our visit.
