"We had such a great time staying at Dobson House! The house itself is fascinating and the views were stunning. Brenda was such a lovely host, giving us a background on how the earthship was created and making us feel comfortable. The location is perfect. It’s close to Taos and Arroyo Seco, but it’s still so quiet and peaceful that it feels so far from everything. It’s just a short walk to the Rio Grande and the hot springs. We’ll definitely be back!"

It was super convenient location wise, very close to all the shops and restaurants, everything was within walking distances. "Melissa's sweet little house was a perfect house for 3 friends to share on a recent weekend in El Prado. Our host was responsive and accommodating to a couple of our requests regarding check in. The home is spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed our morning coffee beneath the the backyard portal. Everything we needed for a restful visit was easily accessible. We wouldn't hesitate to book this property again."

"This property is not fit for occupancy. There are multiple trip hazards, fire hazards, and personal injury issues with this facility. Luckily the owner will have likely addressed and remediated these issues for you to see the true beauty and spectacular views in the area. Some of the most beautiful views in New Mexico are in this area. Bring multiple cameras and take photos that are truly capable of filling any decor, rough and rugged, or very eclectic. Dont miss this one once the repairs...

"This place was perfect for our one-night stay. Rooms were recently renovated, clean and tastefully designed. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The hot tub was great with a nighttime view of the stars and there was also a sauna. We didn't bring our dog this time but some rooms had patios designed with pets in mind which would have been very nice. We enjoyed dinner and live entertainment at the Sagebrush Inn down the street and then brought our leftovers back to our room to reheat for breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay at Luxx Motor Lodge again."

"This is not a standard hotel. It's a set of parked classic trailers (like Airstreams). Instead of a room or a suite you get a trailer - so it's basically a small apartment. Hotel management wants to keep the trailers as close to their original furnishings and mechanical systems as possible, but that's a challenge, so there are some things that don't work perfectly. If you require perfection, this isn't the hotel for you. But, if you enjoy a bit of nostalgia and whimsy and can work with the very helpful staff, then you can have great fun."
