Check in real late, supposed to be double deluxe room ( it wasn’t) all inclusive food (limited aftr first day) , no water aftr checkin & every night.. we’ve stayed there before .. it was amazing… went back .. was horrible!! Staff very unappreciative of people that stay multiple days … not accomadating…Actually told me they were “ too busy” .. to adress the issues and I was the only one there in the lobby. …They were actually spooning pineapple juice froth into another glass just to make it appear like there was more and glass was only 3/4 full…. Don’t go there. Head manager is horrible at her job!!
No beach here… ( beach is literally 15 feet long )just slippery concrete next to ocean
Had to find a stick to hold up umbrella.. they have nothing available to customers

A really nice place to relax, it's more for family vacations, quiet, Lack of variety of cocktails, the ones they have are plane and simple. They only let you stay in the pool until 6. Internet conecction is bad on the rooms

Decepción total. Mala gestión y trato al cliente

Tras más de 15 años visitando esta isla, esta ha sido mi peor experiencia. Nos dieron una habitación en condiciones deplorables: sucia, antigua, sin TV, con cables tv sueltos y una nevera que no cerraba del mal estado. Estaba al lado del trastero y lavaderos. Pasamos la primera noche así. La administradora, Tania, nunca dio la cara ni solucionó nada. Dejó todo en manos del personal, que intentó ayudar sin respaldo ni herramientas. Complicaron la reserva porque no quisieron habilitar la cancelación con reembolso para incluir a mi hijo, y luego usaron eso como excusa para justificar que no se le cobraba a mi hijo. Después de esperar horas por el cambio prometido, asumieron que me había ido solo por salir un momento a otra playa. Solo al final me dieron una habitación habitable. Incluso en otros hoteles de la isla comentan el mal ambiente y el trato cuestionable de esta administradora hacia su equipo. Nunca intentó solucionar nada, al contrario parecía que nos hacía un favor. Para finalizar, la comida, carísima y pésima calidad. No lo recomiendo. Dos noches y tres días totalmente desperdiciados, entre estrés, pérdida de tiempo exigiendo algo mínimamente digno. Este tipo de habitaciones no deben de promocionarlas.

Bueno voy a empezar diciendo que la persona del front desk, el hostess, y el de la tienda son las únicas personas amables y de los cuales no tengo nada que decir al contrario, estuvieron siempre al pendiente y fueron muy amables y serviciales, educadas y alegres, de ahí en en fuera todo los empleados del hotel ni siquiera te devolvían un saludo y con mala cara siempre en especial la del restaurante, era como si te estuvieran haciendo un favor al estar ahí.., la limpieza del cuarto también daba mucho que desear, la regadera se quedaba el agua acumulada por la cantidad de cabello en la coladera y las sábanas olían muy mal y nunca nos cambiaron las toallas de baño.. También tengo que decir que me decepciona mucho que les pedí de favor que me Llevaran a una playa cerca para estar un rato tranquilos, me han llevado a la más fea yo pienso y no por la playa si no por la cantidad de lanchas, motos y personas que se enojaban al no Querer consumirles nada, a otro día me di cuenta que ala vuelta de Cocoliso estaba otra isla, a 2 min y me habían cobrado casi como si me hayan llevado de vuelta a Cartagena. Y lo más triste no pude ocupar la última noche de mi reserva porque no hay transporte continuo a Cartagena y si no me retiraba un día antes perdía mi vuelo ya q era por la mañana y eso lo entiendo era mi responsabilidad, pero mínimo aunq fuera una comida de cortesía u otra atención hubieran tenido que se notara la empatía y la atención con el huésped, creo q fue gasto innecesario 😔

The Rosario islands are a special place and this hotel was a great place to stay and enjoy our visit. A small and very quiet hotel with nice clean rooms and very friendly staff. The internet worked well as well. There is water access but no beach, but a few minutes walk off the grounds will take you to several lovely beaches and a place to buy bottled water affordable. The pool was not operational during our stay but they must have it running by now. Lots of day activities if you so desire but we just enjoyed lounging in the many hammocks in the shade of palm trees enjoying the ocean view.The breakfast buffet was fine as was the dinner menu was adequate as well. Thankfully Fabio and David were there as they spoke good English and were able to help us out a lot. It would have been hard without them there for us with our limited Spanish. If you are looking for a quiet natural stay away from it all this hotel is highly recommended.

Hotellet har sett sina bästa dagar, är i behöv av renovering, restaurang personalen anstränger sig och är trevlig. Internet är mycket dåligt i rummet. För att ha en stabil internet var vi tvungna att vistas på grann hotellet och även om vi ville njuta att av den karibiska havet. Cocoliso saknar en riktigt strand.

The Hotel Cocoliso is a lovely property right on the sea. The staff were helpful when we arrived and made sure we were comfortable. The room itself was a bit utilitarian. In fact a constructive criticism about the whole experience is that it is time for Cocoliso to have a makeover update. The paint is chipping away, the door handles are screwed it nicely, some units haven't even had their bathrooms updated from a campsite shower experience and the main area is in deep need of a new pool table, ping pong gaming experience. It's really Frat House level. We found the dining to be wanting as well. The food that they did have was meh at best. And, the quality was inconsistent depending on the day. Sometimes the pasta was mashed potatoes overcooked and sometimes it was alright. They had no pizza the whole week either. However, in their defense, the bartender at the pool was fantastic and the drinks were great. The highlight of the trip was meeting Simone, the boat tour operator who took us on three little outings. He was super professional, a really nice guy and conscientious toward making sure everyone was safe out in the sea. He knows everyone on the island and beyond and went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time. All in all it was probably worth what we spent on the rooms. But, three nights there seemed like a day too long for us.
