The staffs are great people, but the hotel are very outdated and did not look as good as in the picture, also there was no hot water in MY room. Fan only without air conditioner. Makes the room really muggy. If only the quality of the hotel was as good as the staffs. It would be great

Great location, even though is located on a busy street, the rooms were quiet, all the staff is really helpful. That being said, the hotel is not as nice as it appears on pictures, it is quite dated and the rooms smell a little bit of mold, our room window had no view and the shower is designed in a way that the water splashes on to the rest of the bathroom. The free breakfast is you get what you pay for, so don’t expect an all you can eat buffet, it is very simple and not that great quality food. Overall, is a simple place with great location for the price if you’re staying with a couple or friends, wouldn’t recommend families and be aware to request the ground floor beforehand if you have any trouble going up the stairs as there is no elevator.

The property was ok, no more no less. The hotel is a two-story colonial style building without elevator. The lack of an elevator could/should have been added to the property's description, just so potential guests can choose between booking there or moving on to another property. Our booking included two rooms and we were split between first and second floor. We requested a 2-bed option for one of the two rooms. At checking, staff reported to being unaware of our request for two beds and "did us a favor". We were accommodated in a "triple": this meant one full size bed and one single bed. Upon our insistance we were lodged on the same floor but on different ends of the building. We have experienced similar issues when booking with Expedia, that specific requests are not passed on to the hotel company & the hotels are not communicating/responding to specific requests.--- Wi-fi is very poor, either at the lobby or on the 2nd floor. The hotel is a bit noisy: bedroom doors are hollow and noise from early risers and late comers make it challenging to enjoy a good sleep. The cleaning staff starts very early and the sounds of buckets, keys, and related sounds are the equivalent to a wake up alarm sound. --- The bedroom, aside from a large hole on the closet door & a discarded mattress outside our bedroom window, had adequate space, comfortable beds, a quiet and cooling air conditioner, and good water pressure. The hotel has lots of opportunities to improve its condition.

This property was definitely in an accessible area to Cartagena's Walled City; however, I had numerous issues with my room. When I booked the property, I had requested for a "City view" option and I did not even get a window in my room. I raised these concerns to the hotel personnel and while they tried to change my room, they were keeping me in my original for the majority of my stay and then changing me on the last day. Also, the room had holes in the wall and it did not look appealing at all. The lamps were extremely dim. The bathroom was not clean at all and the shower's pressure was to say the least PAINFUL. From an outsider point of view this property looks appealing, but it is not how they present it.
