Basic public transportation from Cartagena is available by boat from the touristic Bodeguita pier "muelle de la Bodeguita", with hourly frequencies to the Boca Chica, 15 minute walk from the house.

But we recommend considering transportation arrangements though private boats that service the island, which we can help coordinate so you can arrive to our private pier.
Once in the Island everything is walking distance, a bicycle and a four wheel bike are available.
The locals offer mototaxi service, boat rentals and horses.

We recommend that you contact us via instant messaging, as the signal for regular calls on the island may not be very stable. Through instant messaging, we will be able to assist you more quickly and efficiently during your stay.

Depending on the size of your party a crew from 1 to 3 people will be provided for cleaning and cooking from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

There are some typical beachside restaurants at Boca Chica close to the San Fernando Fort, and also some boutique hotels you can walk to and spend the day at for a fee.

Visit Sand Fernando Fort and other historical sites, tourist guides are available. you can also rent local boats with crew to cruise around of to visit "playa Blanca and/or the Rosario Islands archipelago 45 minutes away.

It is also possible to rent horses from islanders or use mototaxi service to explore Tierra Bomba Island.
