“The hotel’s lovely and in a stunning location. The front desk clerk was super helpful and friendly. Everyone speaks English (and many speak multiple languages) which is very helpful & welcoming. My only qualm is that only some rooms have elevators; others are accessed exclusively by stairs. Aside from that inconvenience (my fault, not theirs), it was a lovely stay in a beautiful town. ”

“Love Monchique resort & spa, clean, staff are very welcoming especially Pedro the guest relations manager. Very big room with 2 bathrooms & a great view with a terrace. Full amenities in the room just missing a washing machine for the clothes. 2 pools & a gym with fitness classes. Beautiful surroundings, great hotel, I would definitely suggest it or even go back, thank you Monchique resort & spa, we loved our stay the Pereira family!”

“We had an amazing stay. Our Junior Suite (301) was huge, clean, and really comfortable, with a big bathroom and balcony. Breakfast had so much choice. the bread rolls were delicious and fresh, though most of the fruit didn’t look fresh or was in syrup. That was the only downside. Portimão itself isn’t very lively (except for the touristy strip), but it’s easy to get to other coastal towns like Ferragudo, Vilamoura, or Lagos. The staff were super friendly. The rooftop pool is lovely, except for……

“Ruhige, saubere Hotelanlage. Die schönen Hotspots der Westalgarve in der Nähe. Freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück-Buffet. Mietwagen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Allerdings würden wir das nächstes Mal ohne Halbpension buchen. Es gibt Abends ein Menü, kein Buffet. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, konnte uns final nicht recht überzeugen.”
