“The property is quite tired. Rooms need serious update. Bathroom tile has mold in showers. Bed mattress was not pleasant. Few electrical outlets. TV slightly larger than a computer monitor. WIFI does not work in the rooms. Linen needs replacement. Bathroom supplies inadequate . Parking poor. It appears that it may at some time been used for a children’s camp. Those points not withstanding , the property location and views are very nice. Pool is good. Price reflects quality . Online……

“Really nice scenic view to Volterra, typical oil trees and fields around. Calm and relaxed evironment, ideal for longwalks and relaxation. Pool is also enjoyable even in October. Room was nice and clean, wifi working well. Restaurant was excellent, the wild boar dishes can recommend! Staff friendly and helpful. Washing clothes was also possible so if you are mid trip or longer staying that is also an advantage. Enjoyed our stay there!”

“Trotz Reservation war kein Personal da. Die zufällig präsente Person startete mit telefonieren, um das Zimmer bereit zu stellen. Warmes Wasser gab es nie während der zwei Tagen. Das inkl. Frühstück war am ersten Morgen spärlich und am zweiten inexistent. Das Zimmer wäre sehr hübsch, aber die Organisation total überfordert.”

“Das Hotel ist ländlich, aber sehr gut zu Volterra, San Gimniagno, Siena, Casole und Colle di Val d' Elsa,.. und ruhig gelegen von den Zimmern hat man einen schönen Blick auf die sanfthügelige Landschaft. Wir hatten ein grosses Terrassenzimmer mit schönen Blick auf Landschaft und Anlage, sie Sauberkeit ist sehr hervorzuheben. Das Hotel selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aus Frühstücksraum und Fluren, das abends auch als Restaurant diente, könnte man mit Bildern, Pflanzen und Deko deutlich……

“Where as we enjoyed our time here we did have a bit of an issue with our room temperature. We asked for it to be lowered as it was 81 degrees. We found out, after a very uncomfortable night and requesting 2 more times, that the AC was not working. As an aside: we could not open a window as our room was on the 1st floor and only had doors to a common area. We were moved to a new room. Other than that- the staff was lovely the pools and Spa are great. Location is wonderful with close……
