Such a nice breakfast out on the patio. Quiet, peaceful. Took a dip in the pool which is gorgeous.. unfortunately weather not super warm during our visit but still enjoyed a refreshing dip! Loved our hike to SanGimingnano. Be aware that this is kind of a remote property, but it is beautiful and peaceful. Its up a windy dirt road. We stayed for dinner two nights and enjoyed the property and hiking. Very nice and helpful staff.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish

An absolutely amazing experience with beautiful views, excellent food, and a wonderful staff. We enjoyed it all, especially lounging by the pool, taking in the scenery, and calling off the night with dinner in the property (a can’t miss, the food is so good!). Highly recommend and will return if we are ever back in Italy.

An incredible visit

An incredible, albeit brief visit to this beautiful villa. Never met friendlier staff and been to a more beautiful location. Highly recommend getting dinner with them, one of the best meals I’ve had in all my days. Julia served us most of the time and had an awesome attitude and never made us feel out of place for asking for something.

Simply the most relaxing situation one could imagine. Just a perfect blend of nature, farm edges (e.g. not a resort) but unreal food/wine. Just hanging out by the pool all day or walking vineyards or simply just "being" while the Tuscan sun rejuvenates your soul. It was a fantastic couple of days that was restorative and memorable.

Beautiful, peaceful and clean agriturismo with incredible views of the Tuscan countryside. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, this is the place for you. The staff was so welcoming and went above and beyond. Dinner every night was excellent. I appreciated the location next to the Pilgrimmage Trail, which allowed me to hike to San Gimignano for a day. I highly recommend Torraccia di Chiusi to anyone looking to visit Tuscany!

After finding this gem, you will be overwhelmed by their hospitality. You will receive a tour of the grounds, a 1200 year old house. A 2300 year old tomb converted to a wine aging room. Porcupine condos. Winery. Have dinner on the premises. The 5 course meals were incredibly good. A really great agriturissmo in the heart of Tuscany equally between Florence & Sienna. We will return

Ideal for a relaxing stay.

More of a retreat than a hotel. Comfortable and clean tastefuly furnished rooms. The friendliest, kindest and most helpful hosts you could wish for. Direct access to the Canterbury to Rome pilgrims' trail which provides a pleasant 90 minute walk to San Gimingano. Superb views in all directions. Be prepared for a steep, winding unmade 3k road to the hotel on arrival. It seems never ending but well worth the effort.

The place has exceptionally friendly and warm service. Our room had a really nice view. From the pool you could even see in the distance San Gimignano, which we think is the most beautiful fortress in all of Italy! They even arranged a winery visit for us at a nearby winery after hours. We chose the most perfect destination - every aspect exceeded our hopes of a relaxing stay in the Tuscan countryside. The property is remote but accessible and the staff (really feel the proper word is family) who operate the resort cared for every aspect of our stay. Fresh, delectable food at each meal and the evening dinner was a five course dream! Daily hikes and a drive into San Gimignano (walled city approx 20 min drive) were wonderful aspects to the stay. The history and beauty of the property were so mesmerizing and the wine they produce is AMAZING - sent a case home to the US! I hope we can return one day and bring our children as Torraccia di Chiusi is a gift to the soul! You will thank your lucky stars (as did we) that we had the chance to stay in such a beautiful part of the world experiencing the simplicity, joy and pace of Italy that is the most beautiful way of life.

Cannot say enough about this property, it is amazing. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful. The staff was so helpful and kind. The dinner was amazing, definitely make sure you have dinner here at least one night. The terrace is huge and the room had everything we needed. Great views of the surrounding countryside and of San Giamangiano. Do be careful on your driving directions and pay attention to the signs. Google Maps wants to take you on a route that turns into what is not an actual road, so if you follow it you will end up having to turn around and go back adding about 15 minutes to the drive.
