「Lovely hotel and grounds. We had a room on the 3rd floor with two balconies affording us stellar views of the mountains and lake. The rearward facing balcony was quiet and peaceful. It is actually located in Vezio right outside of Varenna. At first, I was concerned about the location from Varenna. "We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice ."
