"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. "The accommodations was nice, and located within walking distance to Cefalu's main attractions. The management was quick to respond to any issues we had with regards to problems. My wife needed wifi service which they provided, but the quality of their wifi was bad. Their staff promised to fix it, but never followed through. We had wifi, but the bandwidth only allowed us to check out email. We needed to find a restaurant or other facilities to surf the web. "

"From the moment we arrived Alberto was fantastic and very helpful. Alberto, Carlos and Alberto’s mum provided a fantastic Sicilian feast on the first night and catered for one of the party who has a nut allergy. The villa is lovely and the pool, grounds were perfect. It is a little tricky getting to and from the villa with the car but quickly got used to it. This was the perfect relaxing part of our Sicilian holiday. Already planning a return. Grazie!!"

There were two fully equipped kitchens, one inside and one outside. There were plenty of dishes and utensils for large group of people. "Tough drive the first time but view was worth it"

"This property gave us and a fellow family lots of space to enjoy the Sicilian sun. The pool was great as was the view towards the surrounding hills and the sea. It was nice to experience a somewhat cooler climate than down the sea. On the downside, it took us half an hour to drive up and down the hill to get fresh bread in the morning. The property is somewhat run-down with the odd gadget not working. The owner tried to fix everything though. This is not a luxury property but I would recommend...

"We had wonderful service and the food was varied enough in the buffet restaurant. The bookable restaurants are amazing and we highly recommend the Thai. The beach was clean and comfortable and the pools are welcoming with enough space to sit and relax. The only downside is the two hour spa charge if 25euro! Sadly the spa was always empty!! If the charge was more reasonable we would have paid. Overall a lovely hotel."
