“El Castellito” on the Llano River [4 Bed House]

Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Hill Country at "El Castellito" (formally called "The Getaway at Castell") our newest addition to "El Castell" nestled along the banks of the spring-fed Llano River.

Located next door to the charming Castell General Store where you can enjoy cold beers and one of the best burgers in Texas!

River swims, area hikes, fly fishing, hunting for topaz, llanite, quartz, exploring hill country towns await!

If you are looking for a quiet remote place to get away, this is the place. Bring your bikes, kayaks (or rent ours!), fly rods/fishing poles, and enjoy yourself; Come for a few days or weeks to really relax in one of the most iconic towns in the Texas Hill Country.

Next door, make sure you drop into the Castell General Store and get yourself a cold beer and 3/4 lb burger and be entertained by Texas hospitality (and live music on occasion) as they jokingly call it "Luckenbach by the Llano River." Wednesday thru Sunday the bar at the Castell General Store rocks and rolls and the friendly locals have many stories and jokes to tell. Don't be a stranger!

With this booking, you will have access to the house on 2 acres including access to our beautiful spring-fed Llano River waterfront which we also own called "El Castell".

Don't forget to rent Kayaks or Bikes for the entirety of your stay!

Great Vacation

Second time coming here and will probably be a yearly tradition for us. The house is so comfortable for a large group; plenty of rooms and bathrooms. It’s also conveniently located to river access. We love relaxing is Castell!

Loved the location. Jennifer and Randy at the store were very helpful with information about the river and the burgers there were best I’ve ever had. Great place to kayak the river then relax at the house. it was home away from home with comfortable beds. Will certainly make another trip here.

Last Summer Fling

We have been coming to Castell for the past 13 years...we love this place! This house was phenomenal! Lots of room, very clean and was right next door to the General Store. Has a big yard for the dogs to run and play, great fire pit too! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back!

Fabulous Hone

We had a party of 7 that stayed at El Castalito. The house was very clean, bathrooms very well stocked and kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils if you want to cook. There are serval chairs outside and we were able to stargaze at the house as well as walk to the river and stargaze at the bridge. It is less than a 5 minute walk. We had a couple of things we needed to make contact with the owner about and they responded almost immediately. We would definitely stay here again.
