A perfect house for a few days in the mountains

Very complete house, very comfortable beds. Perfect garden for eating outdoors and enough space inside if the weather is not permitting. Two separate toilets and a room with a bathtub and shower. The surroundings are incredible. We will return.

Amazing views in a charming village!

The house is very beautiful and cozy. It has a wonderful rustic charm. The outdoor space is lovely. There is a patio with table and chairs and a small yard. And there is a small balcony on the second floor with a stunning view. The host and property manager were very helpful and quick to respond! A few things to note that weren't explicit in the listing: the towels and linens are not provided in the VRBO price. Our group opted to bring our own towels and linens (sheets and pillow cases) to avoid the extra charge. We also opted to tidy the space ourselves (not a deep clean) to avoid an additional cleaning charge. A stock of fire wood for the wood stove in the living is available for an additional charge as well. Overall, my group and I had an incredible stay! It was a relaxing environment and an accomodating host.

Wonderful views

The property is delightful, with stunning views of the valley, particualry towards the Pyrenees; the snow capped peaks you could see in the distance. Very well equiped kitchen. The village is charming. A perfect base if you particualry love walking.

Gite très agréable, magnifique vue sur le village et la montagne. Dans la cuisine on a l'impression d'être dehors et la terrasse avec ce magnifique tilleul est vraiment merveilleuse. La maison est vraiment dévorée avec goût et on s'y sent chez soi.L'equipent est au top.On a qu'une envie c'est d'y revenir !

Séjour à Castillon en Couserans

Le refuge du Coustou est une maison familiale en restauration qui est très bien située, en haut du village. La piscine municipale est agréable et les balades aux alentours sont nombreuses.Les gens ici sont très accueillants.Nous étions avec nos 2 chiens, et tout s'est très bien passé.

Gîte confortable avec très belle vue

Gîte tranquille et confortable avec une très belle vue sur les montagnes du Couserans.Nous y avons passé quelques jours en famille et avons apprécié la proximité des commerces de Castillon accessibles à pied, la terrasse très ensoleillée (nous avons même pu déjeuner dehors mi-mars alors qu'il avait neigé dans la nuit), la cuisine toute vitrée et ouverte sur l'extérieur, le séjour/salon et son poêle à bois, les chambres joliment équipées et décorées et la grande salle de bains avec douche italienne et baignoire, bien qu'un peu fraîche car située au niveau -1. Nous nous y sommes sentis bien.Seul inconvénient : l'impossibilité de se garer tout à côté pour décharger. Mais on ne peut pas tout avoir et cela n'enlève rien au charme de la maison, où l'on se sent comme chez soi.. Notre petite fille ne voulait plus partir...Nous reviendrons certainement !

Séjour dans les Pyrénées ariègeoises

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le refuge du Coustou à Castillon-en-Couserans : maison de famille où l'on se sent bien, aménagée, meublée et décorée avec goût, bien équipée (électromenager, belle vaisselle ancienne...), belle terrasse où il est agreable de prendre ses repas à l'ombre du tilleul, lieu très calme, bel environnement, vue magnifique sur la montagne, bonne situation pour découvrir les Pyrénées ariègeoises. Le village est agréable, doté des commerces essentiels, les habitants sont sympas. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ces vacances.

Un très beau gîte

Au calme, avec une vue superbe. Un gîte chaleureux, très bien équipé et meublé, avec une âme. À savoir, on doit se garer au pied de la chapelle (à visiter), le gîte se trouve en contrebas. Idéal de 7 à 70 ans. Castillon est un beau village aussi. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Superbe séjour

L’hôte a été très réactive et a su répondre à toutes nos interrogations en amont du séjour. Stéphanie qui nous a accueillis sur place était également très arrangeante et sympathique. Superbe chalet, tres confortable, avec une mention spéciale pour la cuisine et la terrasse qui bénéficient d’un magnifique panorama sur les monts ariégeois !

Achtung: Wundervolles Objekt grauenhafte Gastgeberin

Wir empfehlen dringend nicht hier zu mieten! So not rent here! Das Haus ist wirklich toll, modern, gut ausgestattet und tolle Lage. Die Vermieterin ist aber wirklich, und wir können es kaum deutlich genug betonen, die schlimmste Person die man sich bei einer Vermietung nur vorstellen kann. 1. Hat sich die Vermieterin strikt geweigert uns eine Rechnung auszustellen, die wir als Pfadfinder für kirchliche Zuschüsse dringend brauchen. Für uns bedeutet eine fehlende Rechnung teils einen Verlust von mehreren hundert Euro Zuschüssen. Auch bei Kassenprüfungen ist dies ein enormes Problem. 2. Haben wir versehentlich einen Spiegel kaputt gemacht und dies auch direkt mit Foto und Zusicherung der Zahlung gemeldet und dennoch haben wir eine sehr emotional aufgeladene und unprofessionelle E-Mail bekommen. "Böse Personen", "Diebe", "Unehrlich", "Respektlos". Wir können uns für den Spiegel nur entschuldigen, das war wirklich ein versehen und gezahlt haben wir ihn auch aber diese Nachrichten waren absolut unangemessen. 3. Hat die Dame im Nachgang unzählige angebliche Schäden gefunden, die sie uns betrügerisch in Rechnung stellen wollte. Die Gesamterfahrung wurde durch diesen tragischen Kontakt unglaublich geschmälert weswegen wir dringend jedem abraten dieses Haus zu mieten. Wer sich weigert Rechnungen für durchgeführte Zahlungen auszustellen und Schäden erfindet sollte nicht auf hiesigen Plattformen vermieten dürfen!

Très agréable

Lieu très agréable sur les hauteurs du village. Très belle vue de toutes les pièces. En particulier de la terrasse et de la cuisine. Un petit ruisseau murmure agréablement en dessous d'une des chambres. Un lieu de retraite agréable à tous points de vue, avec tout le confort moderne. La salle de bains est également très belle. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable.

Beau gite, probable ancienne maison de famille avec mobilier d’époque (pas de contact direct propriétaire), que nous avons surtout apprécié pour sa vue sur la vallée (notamment depuis la cuisine) et le village de Castillon.

A hidden pearl ... worth discovering

Refuge de Coustou is a charming, spacious, authentic house with modern comfort (bathroom, kitchen, high speed internet, cable, BBQ, ...). It has a stunning gardenview over the valley. The situation in the village makes it a quite relaxing place. Stores available in village. Parking is no problem in village. Owner responds quickly and correct. Check-in contact is very friendly and helpful. Sheets and towels were clean and pleasant to use. House is furnished in authentic style. One must not hesitate to book a stay there!

Maxi confort dans une superbe vallée!

Le gite du coustou est encore mieux que sur les photos! La maison est magnifique et tres confortable. La vue est superbe. Si je peux me permettre, il manque simplement un parasol pour passer plus de temps sur la terrasse, tres bien exposée. Nous etions 4 adultes et 4 enfants et la maison etait bien adaptée à la circulation permanente. La patisserie de castillon fait des sablés maison et des croustades à gouter absolument. La vallée propose de multiples randonnées pour tous les niveaux, avec tjrs une vue imprenable sur le Vallier. Super sejour et un grand merci a Aurelie et à Isabelle pour leur gentillesse et disponibilité.
