“Room were clean, but the best times of this place already have passed. Service didn’t exist much. We arrived late and a document and keys were at the reception. We informed before that we arrive around 11 pm. Nobody was available at reception to welcome us and show our rooms. We spend about 1/2 hour to figure out were our rooms were, exploring the entire ground floor area and first floor. I am very mindful with peoples time and would expect a premium experience at a premium hotel. The golf……

“The room and Inn were perfect! The owner was so kind and helpful. She he's my reservation when my travel plans coming in did not go as planned and I ended up not checking in until the next day. The food was amazing! From breakfast to dinner with the battered fish (so creamy good) and the chicken a leek lasagna (so yummy). I will keep this place in mind for the next time I am traveling g through the area.”

“Incredible opulence. Views overlooking golf course and a light house on the ocean. Outstanding spa. Breakfast is very good with a variety of choices. 9 hole pitch and putt course for guests. ”

“Most powerful shower I've ever been blasted by, instant hot water too. Room ok, The hotels inability to provide a fridge even when it's for critical-for-life medicines is a bit troublesome and will probably force me to stay elsewhere when I'm back in Ayr later this year. Breakfast is menu-ordered. Very tasty but far too small given the continental buffet options were extraordinarily limited.”

“Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast in the restaurant was OK. No drinking water in the room although there were supplies of hot chocolate, tea and coffee. The hotel parking was down a small alleyway and next to a pub so we decided to park elsewhere and walk in. Looks like there is room to create more secure parking on the disused primary school site.”

“The Hill Hotel was a great. Everything was immaculate . Location was great as well. Less than a 5 minute walk from train station and very close to town. The owners Lynne and Terry were fabulous host. Hopefully going back to Scotland in couple of years and will definitely stay here again.”
