We stayed at Dykefield Farm B&B for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. Lynda was a wonderful host who made us a delicious Scottish breakfast every morning and gave us tips for traveling to Edinburgh and Glasgow. The farm is beautiful and picturesque, like a Thomas Kinkade painting.

This property is a working farm, so if you lie in your bed with your windows open, you can hear all of the animals as they go about their business. It's quite soothing and relaxing. The owner is incredibly sweet and works hard to ensure that you're comfortable. The views are breathtaking, and it's not far from a couple of quaint little towns. I'd recommend trying the Boswell Arms pub about 15 minutes away of you have the time and means.
It is unorganized to now that all of the rooms are up a short flight of stairs and the toilet and shower are on the main floor.

Very good b and b.
Had a lovely stay at Dykefield. Lynda was very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was nicely cooked and very tasty.
A good, traditional old fashioned b and b.
Very quiet location which made for a great sleep.
I would recommend this b and b and would stay again.
I liked watching the fields of cows from the window and the lovely swifts flying around just outside the window.

Wonderful stay
I had a lovely stay. Warm and very welcoming. Linda was a fantastic host. Very accommodating. Shared bathroom was not an issue for me. Other guests were courteous. Breakfast was great. I will definitely be stay here again in the future.

The property was fine. We took a very nice walk along the road. It was very quiet and beautiful.
the host was very kind and attentive to our wants and needs. We hoping she had a double, queen or even a king bed. All she had available was two twins. It worked out though. The only thing we really didn’t like was the only en-suite was down stairs.

Gorgeous working Farm
A working farm in a gorgeous part of the world. The host was super hospitable the room was lovely and clean. The bed was not that comfortable for me but ymmv. The bathroom is shared but not a problem for me.
