“Unfortunately I cannot post photos of the property but where to begin. When we arrived we were greeted with full bins and rubbish on the floor which we were told to pick up. The outside furniture is in a horrible state that I wouldn’t even let the kids sit on with the rust. The oven was in a disgusting state and the fridge door was broken. The state of the cottage was like nothing I’ve seen before. Which is very surprising considering that when you book this property you are then told that the……

“Patrick is an amazing host with easy instructions to check in and out. Red Robin cottage was an absolute delight and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!”

“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

“Amazing place! Highly recommend!”

“The cottage was delightful! It isn’t a shared space, so the whole place was ours - so nice! I highly recommend this quaint town. It has cute shops and wonderful pubs in easy walking distance. The host was super helpful with anything we needed and the cottage is spotless. The parking was tight, but there are lots nearby if you aren’t comfortable with the curb parking. For future travelers from the arid American West, Europeans don’t use a top sheet and regulate their inner temperatures different……

“We had a fantastic time at Olivia-Leigh Cottage! Olivia is a wonderful host - she sent detailed instructions for the check in process, left a lovely welcome hamper for our arrival, was flexible with our needs on check out day and kindly mailed an item we left behind to us after our stay! The cottage is superb - great location, charming, cosy, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you Olivia!”

“Spotless. Clean and tidy. Quiet. Had all the facilities needed Second time there. ”

“It was amazing. Surrounded by hills and the Mourne mountains and a view of the ocean in the distance. Woke up to cows in the front pasture and sheep in the back pasture each morning. So peaceful there. Cottage has everything one would need for a very pleasant stay.”

“We chose this property for our family trip to Ireland because of its three bedrooms, vast array of amenities and location, especially its proximity to the city of Newry and, last but not least, its view overlooking the town of Warrenpoint and Carlingford Lough. By the time we got to 27 Pinewood Hill and settled in for our stay, we were blown away by the exceptional quality of our accommodations. All rooms in 27 pinewood hill including the three bedrooms, bathroom (walk-in shower), half bath and……

“Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle.”
