「Three generations of our family, with 4 children between 7 and 11 were here for a week. Our initial impression was that the villa and gardens were a spectacular setting but the accommodation areas were a bit basic and not what we expected for the 'luxury' description, as has also been described in other reviews. 「Het is een mooi oud gebouw op een mooie ligging. Het onderhoud van het pand is niet zo gemakkelijk, en dat laat zich zien, lamp kapot, wat schilderwerk, maar dat is normaal. Wij hebben genoten van de kamer met uitzicht op zee. Verder is er een goed ontbijt. Gabriella gaf ons tips om te doen in de omgeving. Onze conclusie is dat je het zelf moet gaan zien, het is zeker de moeite waard. 」

「Beautiful outside area/views/trees and plants. Definitely a place where you will want to spend most of your time outdoors! Appreciated this even more after seeing other properties where gardens were sparse. It felt very private (although there is a property next door - not sure whether this is in use). We spent a lot of time at the property and I found the outdoor chairs uncomfortable towards the end of the stay. Mid-may was cooler and much more windy than I expected.」

「Maria et Tommaso sont très intentionnés. L'appartement est nickel,la vue sur l'adriatique du lever au coucher du soleil est fabuleuse. Petit dejeuner et diner toujours dehors en Mai. Otrante,Gallipolli,leuca etc..accessible par la magique route de la côte . Bref parfait pour decouvrir le Salento en couple. Quand à la poissonnerie Mare vivo,à 500 m,je vous laisse découvrir !!!」

「Wir hatten einen super Urlaub in einem netten Haus. Wohnfläche ca 55 m2. Das Haus war sehr sauber. DieTerrasse unter den Olivenbäumen ist der absolute Hit. Herrlicher Meerblick mit spektakulären Sonnenuntergängen. Der Vermieter war bei kleineren Problemen sofort zu erreichen und total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist absolut zu empfehlen. Danke nochmals an den Vermieter.」

「Wir haben eine Woche in Castro Marina verbracht und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Maria und Tommaso sind sehr sympathische Gastgeber, wir haben uns sehr über den Wein und die Taralli zur Begrüßung gefreut :) Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts und die Aussicht ist ganz wunderbar!」

「Wir haben im Juli zwei Wochen Urlaub in diesem Haus verbracht. Wir wurden ganz warm und herzlich empfangen, die Gastgeberin hatte uns sogar etwas zu Essen und zu Trinken in den Kühlschrank gestellt. 「It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. 」
