"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Degli Ulivi! The room was clean and comfortable with AC and an amazing terrace. "What an amazing quiet place to stay. The rooms are cute and well designed with comfort. Has a huge pool to relax. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful with freshly served coffee if your choice. Family owned business and very friendly owners, they will help you with anything you need. It was a really nice and relaxing stay after all day of sightseeing and walking. "Les propriétaires sont faciles à joindre, disponibles et très flexibles, ce qui est un véritable atout. Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux dès notre arrivée.L’appartement est confortable et sa terrasse constitue sans contredit son plus grand charme. Tout était en place pour que nous nous y sentions comme à la maison. Nous y avons cuisiné trois soirs sur quatre et avons pleinement profité de la magnifique lumière de fin de journée ainsi que des superbes levers de lune.Une descente publique menant à la mer, idéale pour la baignade, se trouve à seulement cinq minutes à pied.Nous recommandons cet hébergement sans hésitation."

"Location of the property is amazing, set in the middle of nature. Communication with owners was really good. The property was modernized somewhere in the ‘70/80’s. Plaster is coming loose, dust is everywhere. Outside table is broken in half. Bbq is covered by loose branches and noticeable not used for sometime. Amenities are not up to standard, come on a hairdryer simply y has to be there! There is a swingbench but so shaky we didn’t dare use it. I would suggest bring the property up to ‘26 standards and it would truly be amazing!"

Charming stone trullo with sea access (house F)

"The location is simply breathtaking. The private (shared with other trullos) sea access is a big plus. It really felt like a nice pause in this hectic world. A few things didn't work properly (the stove) and some would definitely require some investment (the bed, the shower, the sink). There are way too many extra items to take into consideration. We have rented other places during this trip in Italy where we didn't have that. This feels old fashioned and you would benefit from including ALL costs (electricity, cleaning, bedsheets) in the initial prices. The additional useless agreement to sign is unnecessary. Also, if you pay extra for certain items, it would be great not to have to do things yourself (bed, taking out the garbage)."

"The view from the upper terrace is fantastic: A beautiful sunset in comfortable patio furniture. The location in the medieval castled town is perfect. The villa is next to one of two piazzas, and also is next to the church. Several excellent restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. The clean and swimmable Castro marina is a 600 step walk down from the town. The service was the management team was quick and efficient. Items that make the place less than ideal: all the doors are locked inside and out. You must carry the 9 keys at all times, even to get out of the front door. The one bathroom on the main level is very small and the ceiling slopes make using the bidet very difficult to use. The water heater is very small. One shower every 1/2 hour. The steps to the one bedroom on the main level are steep and small. The garbage collector will wake you up at 6:30 am every day but Sunday. The bells from the church will wake up every day at 7:30. Then they ring several times an hour. In Italy you need 6 different garbage containers. The villa has only 3.(Only 2 burners on the stove worked; the terraces haven't been cleaned in quite a while. There are no screens on the main floor doors, but there are screens on the lower doors. The flying insects were very bad. We had to keep the doors and the one window closed at all times. There are 2 TVs, but the repair guy could only get one to work. There's no way to stream to the one TV. The couch is extremely uncomfortable.) "
