Lovely property and owners

The property was easy to find and in a good location to visit surrounding towns and cities. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything one would need. The owners were very helpful and made it clear that they would be on hand if anything was needed. I would thoroughly recommend.

Stunning Location, Comfortable, Modern Flat

Situated between an impressive mountain with huge birds of prey circling above, on a peninsula surrounded by the sea. The local beach about ten minutes away, very secluded and beautiful. The flat is very clean and comfortable, the shared garden with BBQ is a nice place to sit and eat your grilled fish. Living room is comfortable with a nice big TV with media player. Good internet access. Bathroom is spacious and modern, kitchen well equipped, with huge fridge, but no oven other than a combi microwave, which did the job well. Owners very helpful, they provided us with tons of useful information regarding local walks and beaches. No local shops other than the campsite in the little town about 20 min walk. Big supermarket about 15 min by car. The area is amazing. Well worth a visit. If you expect a busy place offering English Breakfasts and loads of other British tourists, don't even consider this. The area is properly Spanish, with a smattering of European visitors who know how to appreciate the local culture. And the surf appears to be pretty good too.

Vriendelijke ontvangst, mooi appartement en magnifiek uitzicht!

Het appartement is goed verzorgd, ruim en een prachtig uitzicht. 10 minuten lopen naar het baaitje waar je heerlijk kunt zwemmen. In Sonabia kun je ook gezellig eten in het plaatselijke restaurant met eveneens prachtig uitzicht. Er zijn goed aangegeven wandelpaden vanuit Sonabia aar boven ( het 'duivelsoog' ), zeer de moeite waard. Leuke plaatsen zijn goed te bereiken via de snelweg, zoals Castro Urdiales, Santander en Bilbao.

Véritable petit paradis pour amants de la nature!

Accueil chaleureux dans un endroit magique: un bel appartement très bien équipé et décoré avec goût, parfait pour un couple, à 10 minutes à pied de deux plages (dont celle de Sonabia qui est unique!) Des fenêtres au deuxième étage, nous pouvions voir les montagnes qui nous entouraient, la mer au loin et les moutons dans le champs juste à côté de la maison. L'endroit est aussi parfait pour la randonnée et bien situé, entre Bilbao et Santander permettant de visiter ces deux belles villes, en plus de tous les villages côtiers où on peut aller se régaler de pintxos. GRACIAS POR TODO CARMEN!

endroit sublime

Nous avons passé 6jours ,dans un appartement sublime ,decoration superbe fait avec gout,et l appartement se situe dans un endroit extraordinairement calme , magnifique ,car entouré de montagnes ,de verdure ,et chaques jours au petit matin nous allions faire notre marche ,jusqu a la plage qui se trouvait a 10mn a pied ,pour finir sur une superbe plage ,montagne a vue et arboré sublimement. La proprietaire carmen et son cher mari ,sont deux personnes trés gentille,agréable et serviable..merci a vous deux et on reviendra surement.Proche de l appartement jolie balade vers sonabia a 10mn a pied ,falaise ,plage et vue sublime .. merci pour tout.

We had a great time in sonabia. Thanks to Carmen and pedro, who have been perfect and very gentle hosts! Our two sons had a great time as well! Nice beach, awesome landscape and relaxed athmosphere. We will definitly return.

Sonabia is a great place

Our stay at Sonabia was absolutely wonderful , owners Carmen and Pedro are very nice and helpful, pleasure to communicate with them, Carmen is great cook too. Apartment was very nice and lot of great places around, for walks, tracking, beautiful beaches . That’s a place you want to be back again.

l'appartamento corrispondeva perfettamente alla descrizione fornita sul sito. L'appartamento era pulitissimo e nuovissimo, comodo e ben attrezzato. i proprietari erano estremamente disponibili e simpatici. raccomanderei sicuramente questo appartamento perché io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trovati benissimo. La proprietà era situata in una posizione comodissima per visitare i Paesi Baschi e la Cantabria.
