"Did not know that there were so many stairs to get to and from the bachelor apt., However Hosts were there at the time we arrived to check on things and graciously helped us up the stairs with our bags ! We really appreciated their friendliness and kindness after a long day . The oatmeal cookies that were left for us as a special treat were fantastic and waking up to a beautiful view with Canada geese on the lawn by the lake was amazing!"

"Had a great stay the staff was amazing the room was clean the Hotel it’s self was in great shape, close to everything and the breakfast was way more than you’d expect."

"I chose this hotel because it advertised an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness centre. I was attending CaperCon and dealing with ongoing knee pain and muscle soreness, so I intentionally booked extra nights before and after the convention with the expectation of using these facilities for rest and recovery. Unfortunately, upon arrival I learned that the pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness facilities were unavailable during my stay. The hot tub was one of the primary reasons I chose this property. I do not recall seeing this clearly communicated during booking, and the welcome message sent through Hotels.com before arrival made no mention of the closures. Had I known these facilities would not be available, I would likely have booked elsewhere. The room itself gave the impression of poor cleanliness and deferred maintenance. There were stained carpets and furniture, soap scum buildup in the bathtub, rust around the drain, a cracked sink, damaged fixtures, and bedding that appeared damaged. I stayed at this property about a year ago and raised similar concerns. At that time I was told improvements and deep cleaning efforts were underway, which was one of the reasons I chose to give the hotel another chance. Unfortunately, I saw little evidence that these issues had been meaningfully addressed. The staff were polite, but overall the experience did not match the expectations set when booking."

"Stayed here for two nights after our ferry had been delayed. Our room was basic, nothing flash, bed too soft for us, room painted a dark colour which made the room look even darker & the furniture was dark also. Plenty of parking at the front and out the back. Obtaining hot water for a cup of tea was very painful, I waited for over 15 minutes before it was giving to me. While I was waiting for the hot water, I was asked to give this hotel a five star review, I would have if I thought it deserved five stars."

"The hotel was very nice, and the room was big and comfortable. Check in and check out were fast, and there was a big parking lot in front of the hotel. There is a small pool and gym, and fresh coffee at any time. The breakfast was very good with good selections and employees keeping everything stocked. The only bad thing was the noise level due to many kids staying at the hotel in one of the nights. It's not the hotel's fault for disrespectful guests, but maybe they could've put the kids in one section."
