Nearby is the Gioeni park, excellent location for outdoor activities. The park dominates Via Etnea from above; walking along it you can reach the historic center until you get to the elephant square, Piazza Duomo. (3.3 km)
A few meters from the front door there is a stop for urban buses, including the one that ensures a fast connection to the historic center and the train station.
