Que lugar más maravilloso! La atención es equivalente a un hotel de 5 estrellas. Gaetano es increíblemente atento. El hotel esta ubicado en plena Via Etna, via principal y peatonal de Catania, y no se oye ni un ruido, esta perfectamente insonorizado. El desayuno es increíble, muy variado, de buena calidad y delicioso. Se desayuna en una sala que es espectacular, parece un palacio de una pelicula. Las habitaciones son muy grandes, limpias y con todas las amenidades. Estamos felices del trato, del lugar y de toda la experiencia Siciliana. Viva L,Italia, Viva Sicilia! Muy recomendable!

Very friendly and welcoming and simple guest house. The rooms are traditional Italian style, this is no monochrome Hilton, and we were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the main street. Everything you need, good location, and very helpful staff.

Firstly, the staff was excellent and the building beautiful. We did not have breakfast but could see what was pre prepped for the next day and the owner even allowed us to get coffee and a yogurt in the AM but we did not. We did get a water for the road. We had an early flight out the next morning, so we could not experience breakfast but I am sure it would have been quite a spread. Room was clean but warm so we opened our balcony window for the breeze but because of a festival going on, it was quite noisy at midnight. Parking was atrocious. The street it is on was lined with tents (closed vendors) where google maps wanted to take us. A local on the street did not let us squeeze down this street and because so many streets were one way or blocked created quite an issue to get there. At one point, the Nissan crossover could not fit around the corner of a street and we had to go up on a curb to turn the corner. This is not the fault of the owner. But simply if we would have know about closed streets, we would have not booked there. We did park on the street which since we were leaving the hotel at 6 AM, the owner said we should be fine. It appears that we were. Elevator was broken so we had to go up three flights of stairs with our luggage. Thank you to the owner for trying to make the accommodation the best he could in the given circumstance.

Location is excellent, close to main attractions and lots of shops nearby! Breakfast is good in a really beautiful dining room. Staff (Cayetano) was extremely kind and helpful. I would not hesitate to book again if I go back to Catania in the future.

The property is in an ideal location with great transport links. I cannot fault the rooms or amenities, every need is catered for. Beds and pillows very comfy and a good breakfast selection in the beautiful dining room. The lovely owner greets you in the morning and is very helpful. If you prefer a traditional, historical and genuine Italian feel, then this is the accommodation for you.

I was awakened at 7 am by noise of people installing floors right next door to my room. It is not a hotel, just a whole bunch of rooms in one of the floors of a building. The description was misleading, stating that there was parking. I was not able to find parking within 500 meters of the room and ended up parking in the street risking a ticket or getting towed. Driving to the house was not safe with people in two different traffic lights wanting to to clean the car for money and getting upset when told not to.

This was a beautiful property! Full of old world charm, location was amazing, however we had to find a 24 hour car park and this was Pretty Simple with google maps which was only a 6 minute walk to park our car staff were so super friendly and lovely and so was brekki

Super god beliggenhed i fht seværdigheder. Smuk morgenmads salon og dejligt friskbagte croissanter m.m. Meget søde og hjælpsomme værter. Afløbet på badeværelset var lidt stoppet, så det tog lang tid af få bade afviklet. Airkonditionen virkede fint de første to nætter, men ikke for godt den tredje nat.

Charming Hidden Gem.

This place is a lovely authentic gem. Beds where very comfortable, room was very clean, and the bathroom was recently furbished. The building does not have your typical hotel frontage with fancy foyer as you enter. But dont let that put you off. The reception is on the second floor of this 200 year old building. So if you like charming old building with new upgrades, this place is worth a stay. Bonus points for being centrally located in the heart of Catania and the staff are absolutely lovely.
