Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful clean property in a quiet gated community. House was well maintained and had every kitchen amenity. Beautiful view. Was quite windy on last day. Manager was excellent. Hot tub and pool were wonderful as we paid heating fee. Unfortunately outdoor seating around gas fire was uncomfortable and not as shown in picture. Would stay here again.

Excellent place for a long weekend getaway

Property was very clean and is very well maintained. At the beginning I thought there were too many requirements and too many papers to sign, but the overall experience was very good. It is a very good property to stay on for a quiet weekend and the house is very well decorated and supplied with everything.

Comfort and peace

Pictures actually didn't do this property justice. It was really nice. Each room was a master, new appliances, and everything you could need. Outside area was perfect for relaxing and fun time with the family. Some people may not like the openness of the backyard as it's open but we weren't bothered by it. Stayed at over 20 VRBO residences and this so far is our favorite.

Great little cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage in St Catharine’s. Directions from owner were perfect, easy to find. Kitchen is well equipped and coffee pot looks brand new. Bed is comfortable and shower is good. There’s a little lounge area outside with fire pit, just too cold to use while we were here. Owner is easy to contact if you need anything. Book inside cottage has detailed list of nearby wineries and restaurants. Loved this area and looking forward to coming back to stay in the cottage. Thanks Linda!

Celebrating 70!

We were celebrating my 70th birthday at this property. We selected it based on the images we saw on VRBO and we were not disappointed! The home is immaculate with comfortable seating both inside and outside. The kitchen provided everything that you required for home cooked meals (which we did cook several meals). Beds were super comfortable. We only had one slight complaint and that was the corners of the kitchen, dining room and outdoor rugs curled up and we tripped on them quite often. Loved this place and would highly recommend and would love to stay again sometime.

Delightful "Casa"

In April we rented a house for Thanksgiving week only to have that landlord cancel the first week in November! We were very lucky that this listing first came online at that moment. The house--stylishly decorated and thoughtfully appointed--checked all our boxes: three bedrooms with en-suite baths and a powder room for guests; a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen & great room (with a fireplace); a shady patio, pool, jacuzzi and fire pit outside. You need a car, but Palm Springs' attractions are only minutes away.

Great location lovely neighborhood. Nice property.

This was our third stay in Palm Springs in January and our second stay at the Desert Princess properties. We were very happy with the home and its location. We stay in Cathedral city since our first rental in Palm Springs, put us off the end of the runway, which is tough to avoid in Palm Springs, and we find the air traffic makes less noise in Cathedral city. This property was as advertised with great service by the Altamira rental company. The only negative was the programming on the hot tub is inconvenient and you cannot run the hot tub without also running the jets. Otherwise everything worked as advertised. The TVs were easy to use, and had good sound And the instruction booklet helpful.

Lovely home

Very clean, gorgeous house, extremely well-appointed with everything in it you would need. Very kind, responsive property management. Some onerous rules compared to other rental properties about keeping the place clean (house rules warn that leaving more than 1-2 towels per person to be laundered or leaving sunscreen marks on the patio glass could result in extra cleaning charges). We basically just pre-cleaned everything, did laundry etc to avoid extra charges - a bit disappointing since we're already paying a $340 cleaning fee. But no complaints whatsoever about the quality of the house itself - quite beautiful and we had a great time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was one of the best rentals we have stayed at. Each bedroom has their own In bathroom suite, large closet and large bed. This is perfect for families, couples, and more. Excellent views of mountains and green belt makes the backyard a nice place to chill out. The house was fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Kitchen, living room and dining room had open concept floor plan and overlooked the backyard and pool. This home is in a private gated community and the grounds are well kept. Two car garage with a Tesla charging station (ya!) allowed us to keep our car cool during the trip. The check in was a bit overwhelming but worth it! Home is ashirt drive away from downtown Palm Springs, in the opposite direction grocery stores and Starbucks, and easy freeway access. Our boys loved this home as much as we did. Looking forward to returning soon!

Bathroom amenities left nothing to be desired. We were a short Uber ride into Palm Springs which was convenient for safe driving/evenings out. Altamira was a phone call away and very responsive with our questions. Loved this property and look forward to our next stay!
