Shops/restaurants/bars/attractions We actually stayed in a suite opposite the main hotel- every convenience was there/washing machine/dishwasher/crockery/microwave / excellent storage and a gorgeous room! "I loved this hotel. My room on the 5th floor was just lovely. The shower took a while to warm up but then there was plenty of hot water. Fabulous location just at the base of the hill where you walk up to castle, 2 min from the Roman amphitheater, and steps from all the shops, restaurants and scenic streets of the old town. "

The spa provides a beautiful swimming pool in the basement and the massages both myself and my wife received were very professional and beneficial. The site of the hotel right in the heart of Trieste make it an absolutely perfect destination for a holiday or short stay. "
