「I would highly recommend Les Magnolias. We stayed in the apartment and it has a beautiful terrace overlooking the river, which is great for enjoying a glass of local wine in the evenings. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel at home. The resident cats are friendly too. Breakfast is well catered and if you have the apartment and want to cook, there is a supermarket 2 minutes away by foot. I also highly recommend some of the bakery’s in town as we had the best almond croissants ever!...

「The house was even nicer than the pictures. You can walk across the fields and lane to town, but you really are better driving. There is a big garden with plenty of space for the children. Everything you need for 10 people to enjoy inside and out, plenty of seating and sun beds. Bernadette has a good eye and the house is very tastefully decorated. Queries were answered very quickly. We were unlucky to have a power cut which resulted in a broken pool pump, but the host was quick to respond. A...

The bedrooms are full of character, the secluded garden with separate villa, swimming pool and hot tub all add to the relaxing vibe. The hosts are exceptional, providing fantastic breakfasts and always ready to help - we can’t thank them enough, it was a real privilege to stay here. The location is great too - an easy walk through the old town to the riverside with everything close by. We will return! 」

「This house is charming and is well located for enjoying the Perigord. Tremolat has two great restaurants (one world class) and and good neighbourhood bar/café. The house has everything you’d want but as others have noticed, a bit less in the cupboards would help visitors stow their own kitchen stuff. I would have added one more star if there were garden furniture stuff such as parasols to cover the sitting out areas.」
