「Perfect location, front desk staff is awesome. Completely quiet room. I loved it」

「Hotel is new. The manager wont open up higher floors unless the first 3 floor are full. Parts of the hotel are not finished,. Room was well used in the bathroom for a new hotel. Looked tired already. Shower leaked into the toilet area」

「An amazing place to stay in Mazatlan. Well located to take advantage of great restaurants and shops on Sábalo Centro as well as great cheap public transportation to the golden zone. Rooms are stunningly beautiful and well maintained! Truly a 10 star hotel in a 5 star world!」

「As a single woman traveler, I did not feel safe at this property. It was kind of like a ghost town. although there were few travelers at the hotel, there was a plethora of Special Forces armed police. they were everywhere. One day at the "restaurant" - quotes intended - every table was occupied with these police eating off of paper plates. This made me feel especially unsafe. I checked out early」

「An absolutely lovely well kept property. Miguelina, the owner, lives on site and gives her attention to every detail. Her staff is hard working and friendly. We love it here!」

「I have never in my life of travel experienced a staff as friendly and accommodating as the staff at the Ave Inn Hotel. If I could give them 10 stars I would. After I casually mentioned it was my wife's birthday, the staff bought her a birthday present. The hotel common areas and rooms were very, very, clean and attractive. Breakfast was reasonably priced and cooked to order by the chef on the spot. No reheating or stale items here. The beach is a short walk away we will return.」

「Habitación limpia, ya se le nota los años al hotel pero sigue siendo una buena opción, muy bien ubicado, camas y almohadas muy cómodas. Había Valet Parking, Los cajones del estacionamiento están muy pequeños, creo que hay otro estacionamiento pero si logré quedar dentro del hotel. 」

「The 2 positives for this property are its extremely kind and caring staff plus the cleanliness. However, the property is 'tired' and needs remodeling; the noise level is constant from early morning salsa classes with groups arriving from cruise ships to blasting beach bands all afternoon into early evening, there is no quiet, anywhere. The pool is very busy and there is no beach sitting. The food is just satisfactory and thankfully there are many very good restaurants within walking distance....
