Great customer service they made us feel very welcoming. Thumbs up to the restaurant staff that served us great food every time. I would recommend this resort to everyone who wants to visit Belize. We enjoyed visiting the split where most activities were and great food.

Property and staff were lovely. But, the sargassum was so bad due to the location among the mangroves that the rotten smell permeated the whole property including our cabana. I know that’s completely out of the hotel

We had the most lovely, comfortable stay! The staff were amazing! Most helpful, kind, considerate group that I’ve ever encountered. Not intrusive at all, but meet every need, request, and anticipated need. The complimentary boat ride across the split multiple times a day was soo nice. Very clean. Restaurant was great as is the cafe directly across the street. Best fruit smoothies we’ve ever had. Very quiet and peaceful. Can’t wait to go back some day!

A room is clean. Staff is good but I don’t see much. A complimentary boat ride between north and south is good and exciting but it can feel a little limiting especially on Wednesdays. If you provided a booklet about the hotel facilities, amenities, activities the way to get north… that would be nicer and kinder.

Greeting when we arrived was fantastic. Room was clean, and food was good. When we booked this place it was because of the pool bar, however, what isn’t said is that the bar is only open Friday-Sunday. This should clearly be stated as we were there Sunday- Wednesday so only got it for one day.

I highly enjoyed my room with its high ceilings and comfortable bed. Very quiet and peaceful, waking up to the sounds of morning doves. The restaurant was exceptional - friendly staff and delicious food. Only complaint was the lack of communication between office staff and access to needed services - not having a reservation on Tropic Air on upon my arrival in Belize City, confusion about what could be ordered with the breakfast certificate, not giving me correct information about the pickup time for a snorkeling trip and then not being on the list for the trip, not being on the list for the water taxi to the airport. not arranging for my driver to be paid for my ride from the water taxi to the airport. Chronic lack of follow through.

What an amazing place!! The rooms are beautiful! The property is so beautiful! So well maintained, like a gorgeous Zen garden. The staff are AMAZING! So welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious. We had the best time!

El Ben is a beautiful, well run property. Everything about our stay was fantastic from the staff to the food to the cabanas. All the food is made from scratch - from the bread for morning toast to the fresh squeezed juice. I only gave it a 3 for amenities because that’s somewhat intentional as it’s on the north quiet side of caye caulker. If you want to relax, unplug & lay low it’s perfect. If you want to sign up for outings & adventures off site, you can do that too.

Spacious rooms and bathroom, very nice grounds, close to the main town area of restaurants, bars and stores but you need to take boat across the split, $1 each way. Nice boat ferry to pick you up at dock terminal when you arrive and take you back at the end of your stay. Walking or biking distance to the two nicest beaches on the island. Ac was great, tv options were great. Restaurant was pricy.

Wonderful spacious cabanas, so cool inside with large beds and a roomy shower. The on-site restaurant was also fabulous. The staff were incredibly helpful. This north side of the Split on Caye Caulker is pristine and quiet. Town is a short hop on a golf cart and 2 min ferry ride.

The place is clean and the staff are very helpful. You are on the quieter side of the island which we loved but they will take you back and forth by boat which is free of charge. The pool is nice and the place was clean and well maintained. Would recommend!
