"Everything about this property was just as advertised. Clean, comfortable, cozy, peaceful, and private. Really had everything you would need for a multi-day stay. Having a rack of free firewood was the icing on the cake. We spent hours sitting by the firepit enjoying the fall scenery and watching the cows stroll around across the road. Plenty of things to do nearby, boating and fishing on Lake Moomaw, hiking, horseback riding, and we really enjoyed the wine tastings at Rock Roadhouse Winery in Hot Springs. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, this is it! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you very much to our hostess, Beth Rogers."

"The Host was very personable and friendly and accommodating, as our booking was unexpectedly last minute. Mountain views in every direction I looked. Whether it was looking out of the bedroom window, window view of mountains while taking a relaxing bath, seeing mountains looking out the kitchen windows while cooking, or while eating in the screened in porch, I was immediately calmed with the breath-taking views of the tree leaves changing colors on the mountain range! The Crow’s Nest was absolutely a MUST every morning and every evening to enjoy the peaceful views of the mountain with bench windows and 360 degree windows! I definitely left with more “peace” in my heart and mind, which was one of my goals for our Fall Trip to the mountains. My husband also enjoyed himself in the screened in porch and mornings sitting in the study! "

"We did not use Hot Tub. There were 3 doggie beds, ( we call them climbs) in the basement, that was a great addition for our dog as she loves to hang out on them. Very pet friendly, very clean. Convenient to Lexington to see all the history in the town. The drive out to the house is awesome, very remote but we still felt very safe. Deer were everywhere. Big yard for the dog to play as well. We would definitely stay here again."
