Excellent mini vacation!

We have stayed at Old Fenimore many times and all have been great but this time it was superb. The unit is large and welll appointed with comfortable attractive furnishings, up to date appliances and spotlessly cleaned. We LOVED this condo and will be coming back as often as we seek a get away. Simply can't say enough good things. Even the incredible thunderstorm was fabuous!
The late evening thunderstorm came from the east and put on a splendid lightning show. .Was thrilled to get a photo!
Before the storm, a Roseate Spoonbill was diligent in sweeping the water below our condo, harvesting dinner.
Thrilled to have gotten a couple of photos of this Roseate Spoonbill from our third floor deck.
Later morning, pelicans were preening in great glory around the boat slip on Dock Street. Lov

The place smelled clean and everything was clean! We enjoyed the view of the gulf of america and on average there were a dozen dolphins swimming and splashing about every day! The appliances were modern and worked well!

Let me preface things by saying I’m not one who has to have fancy smancy. It’s just not me. It’s nice and pretty but doesn’t make or break the vacation. My needs are 1) CLEAN, 2) good beds/mattresses, and 3) a good view, preferably from a balcony or porch. This place has all that. I’ve never stayed in a place so clean. I walked around in white footies and they stayed white. The office is super easy to reach. We couldn’t figure out the lock and they answered immediately and walked us through it. No other issues whatsoever. It wasn’t crowded so we got the rest and relaxation we came for. My only suggestion would be to update the town info as many things have changed, even in the three years we have been coming. This is the second time we’ve stayed in this unit and will stay again next year. We love this village!
