"The grounds are lovely with plenty of places outdoors to relax and play, although path to water is long and steep. Our beds were so comfortable and the showers were amazing. Lovely view of Sister Bay from our covered deck. Room amenities were great. They do allow dogs and many guests had well behaved dogs. Because the grounds are so peaceful the sound carries, thus, while we could not see our neighbors on our balcony their loud voices and less well behaved dogs caused us not to want to sit on our balcony or leave just the screen door shut. Other neighbors were much quieter."

"Stayed for 4 nights and the location was very quiet and convenient. The facility itself is a little older but was well maintained and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, very nice stay, the only issue was that for the first couple of nights the family above us was getting up at 4 am and you could hear every footstep and the doors open and close constantly for about an hour. We did use the kitchen and gas grill a couple of times and they were also nice to have access to. Beautiful sunsets each night right across the road. Quick access to the ferry."

"Kitchen stove/microwave could use an upgrade! Burner in back was loose, microwave turntable was not lined up even after 4 times of trying to correct it. Plastic cups would be a nice addition -- safer instead of glass."

"This is our "go-to" hotel when visiting Door County. We have 2 dogs and really appreciate that their dog-friendly rooms are all in a separate building from the main hotel. Everyone in that building has dogs, so if your dog barks or whatever, everyone there "gets it" because we are all dog parents! The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and there's a patio or balcony off all the dog-friendly rooms. They have a new electric firepit / gas grill area which is really nice. There is a microwave and nice sized refrigerator in the room, and plenty of room for your dog's crate, as well. The owners are friendly and accommodating. We have used both the indoor and outdoor pools and found them to both be very clean and well maintained. The little restaurant that is almost next door - I think its called "Summer Kitchen," is also very cute and has great food. All in all, staying here has always been an excellent experience for us. Highly recommend."
